Excellent. Took my daughter back to uni today and thought we would get Fish and Chips but she and my wife who have been before had other ideas.
Visited the Canteen today 13th Feb for lunch. Nice welcome as we walked in. 3 Friendly Staff. Daily specials , I had the Thai Green Curry which was excellent. In my normally critical opinion this is a simple welcoming eatery, with great food served in good portions, great value for money and in clean simple surroundings. Highly Recommend. Will be back

Really delicious food - specializing in flatbreads but also with some hot options. Would definitely recommend for a tasty quick lunch! You can take away or sit in.

It’s such a lovely little coffee shop to just sit, relax, unwind and sip your coffee. The upstairs is even more cosier with the couch setting. We ordered cappuccino & hot chocolate. Both of them were amazing. The coffee had incredible bold flavour and a beautiful texture. The hot chocolate had the perfect consistency as per my taste- not too thick and not too milky. You must try if you are in Canterbury.

I love getting my oat latte from this shop in Canterbury!! The staff: Hannah, Adam, Scarlett, Jude and Matt as well as others who I don’t know their names! Are really amazing. I chat with them always when I return, they’re super experienced and fun to talk to while also making great espresso and silky smooth milk! The cakes are renown for being delicious as well as their award winning espresso. Seriously one of the best in Canterbury if you’re a coffee lover. Thank you guys!

Fantastic oat milk flat white. One of the nicest I can remember! They do a range of cakes and pastries but we were to restrained to try these this time! Small independent local group of shops. This one was centrally located in Canterbury.

I love the place especially the 1st and 2nd floor....old and full of charm. Ground floor is new as most restaurants and cafe in the area. Good food/coffee and clean place. Service is great and staff is friendly.

The coffee tastes great! No wonder it is an award-winning coffee. I also recommend the Biscoff Flapjack, if you are here. Pretty cozy ambience in upstairs.

Amazing coffee, the milk texture is smooth and bouncy but not airy, the coffee is warm but not bitter and the latte art is usually impressive. Matt and Jude make a wonderful team, funny, informative and understanding. Matt made sure to replace my coffee when there was a humidity issue with the grinder (I really appreciated that this was done without me asking as well!) the coffee after the fix was stellar. Apart from Jude and Matt, the staff (which I unfortunately do not know their names) are always welcoming and super kind. Great coffee shop.

As an Australian, good coffee is hard to find in the UK. This place did not disappoint. Perfect refuel before exploring the cathedral.

Stopped here for a quick coffee break and loved this place! Especially loved the upstairs cosy area - a really nice spot to sit and relax! And the coffee was very good 👍 ☕️

I felt like I found the best little sunny spot ( on Sun Street 🌞) to sit out and sip a cup of really good coffee. What does award-winning coffee taste like? Now I know and yup, it is good! 👍🏽 I also tried their chocolate because it’s Caribbean connections spoke to my heart. Dark Caribbean cocoa and award-winning coffee … life in Canterbury doesn’t get better than this!

Such a beautiful little cafe to work in, wifi is excellent and a quiet environment. I usually come here to work on things I can’t focus on at home. They offer gluten free options and have alternative milks as well :)
