I really enjoyed it.
The staff is really nice and the service is quite quick.
The scones are massive and so tasty.
It was lovely.
Good price for the quality and amount of food.
I'll come back for sure.

I love  a bit of a wander, and on turning up in Canterbury town centre following a lovely wedding nearby we came across the lovely little Tiny Tim’s Tea Room on a quaint looking little street in the shadow of the huge cathedral. I live in Brixton where nothing is very quaint at all, so love a little dolly village looking place, and Tiny Tim’s is up there.

If you are looking for the ultimate afternoon tea experience then Tiny Tim's is most definitely the place for you. Set in a charming old building but decorated with a modern twist - this tea room in the cathedral city of Canterbury is a good place to take a break from the sightseeing of this fantastic city.

The staff are all very attentive & will guide you through the endless tea & coffee options available to order. Though ultimately the baked good are what this place is all about - we are talking huge scones & slabs of cake which have to be seen to be believed. We opted for the traditional afternoon tea which came with two cheese & two fruit scones, served with a variety of jams & clotted cream.

The place is buzzing with activity & also features a ghost room!

Took my mum here for mothers day and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Very nice setting and very nice tea and cakes! We had a little bit of a wait for a seat, as the place is TINY but once we were sat we were not rushed and we had a nice view of the small courtyard from where we were sat. The staff were friendly and helpful as much as they could despite the business. The place is a little pricey however for the quality of the snacks we had, I would say it was worth it. I would come again :)

Tiny Tim's is a must when you visit Canterbury. Every time we visit Canterbury we always make sure to stop here. The afternoon tea is the best, the sandwiches are very good and the scones are brilliant! There is a great selection of tea also, as well as other food items. This time I decided to get the ham and mustard 'huffkin' which hit the spot! Can't wait till we're in Canterbury again!!

Tiny Tim's is a great little tea room in Canterbury. It's just off the High Street and just a short walk from the Cathedral. I ordered the Gentleman's Tea, which comes with a cheese scone, Spitfire rarebit on toast, ginger cake, and an ale. In short, it was delicious (and considerably more than one person should have in one sitting, though that didn't stop me). The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend.

This is hands down my favorite place in Canterbury! I always make sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area. The Kentish Cream Tea for one is good to be split between two people. The scones are delicious and the staff are very friendly! The atmosphere is lovely.

Great little tea room with great view of the Cathedral entrance. Upstairs above the tourist information but lift available. Really nicely laid out. Great pictures on walls. Food good too.

Really nice experience! Love the place, and the tea is really good. We decided to order the tea set with scones for two and was really good but I think the size of the scone was too big for me, it was really delightful, and portions were just right. You should visit for sure! Great place to spend your tea time at with family, friends or even a date.

Loved this cozy tea house. We had a break here for our day trip in Canterbury, and the scones were so amazing and so huge (as huge as my partners fist hahaha!) We even took one daily special back to London. The scone came with jam and butter. You need to order clotted cream separately. I like the crunchiness on the top and the buttery smell inside. The vanilla ice cream for affagato was delicious.

The atmosphere, calm energy and cute little garden area are really special here. All members of staff are super attentive, friendly and welcoming. The music was nice as well which a lot of places overlook. The food though was disappointing. The cheesecake was super jelly and tasted very very industrialised, the espresso was not very good, and the eggs royale were nice but nothing to return there for, very heavy on the sauce, however the presentation was really nice. All in all, 4 stars for great service and ambience but the food is not very good.

Tearoom done out to a high standard. Prices were reasonable. I had the Welsh rarebit on sourdough toast with bacon . The flavour was very nice , just needs more cheese flavour. Would go back again

Scone was not bad and quite big. A crumbly texture. Personally I prefer a firm one but the scone itself still tasted nice. The clotted cream was good but the strawberry jam was quite normal.

Probably the best scones we had on our south east England tour! The service was lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend as well as visiting the ghost on the last floor ;)

Oh my goodness, what a lovely tea rooms. The toasted cheese scone was delicious, the tea was tasty and the Robin that popped in for a visit in the garden was a delightful finish. Thank you, everything was perfect.

A lovely cosy place in the heart of town, must visit if in Canterbury. The scones were absolutely huge and delicious. They were perfectly golden brown on the outside, and tender and flaky on the inside. Yum!

One of the two best places for scone so far on my list! The texture is superior. The crust is super crunchy. The interior is fluffy, crumbly, but without being too try. Not too sweet. Comparing with my other favorite in Granchester, the taste is less buttery (no jam or clotted cream for plain scones there), but the crust here is simply unbeatable. I wonder what’s the magic—egg wash and/or oven temperature? I finished by scooping up all the crumbles with the jam spoon :P And the gigantic size is phenomenal. One equals two normal portions of scone. The daily special (fruit scone today) is lovely. The cakes look rather simple. The hot chocolate is ordinary, on the thinner side, smooth but not too sweet or too heavy. A charming not-tiny-at-all tearoom to visit in Canterbury ^^ (and a ghost room with some local history to explore… not spoiling it here)

A very welcoming tearoom, perfect for a break in sightseeing in Canterbury. It has more room than appears from a quick look from outside. There's a good menu and the portions are generous. We saw afternoon tea being delivered to another table, it was enormous! Tiny Tim's is well worth a visit.

Was greeted as soon as we walked in by a friendly employee and offered a table inside. It's a quaint cute little tea room. Service was quick and very efficient, all the staff friendly and helpful. The food arrived quickly and was way above expectations. The menu is bigger than expected. There is breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea menus. Good selection of teas and coffees. Great value for money and incredibly tasty. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the scones were amazing. Really good coffee. My friend ordered cream tea for one which came with two scones and enough tea for probably around 3/4 cups, he took one of the scones home for later as the scones really are filling (coming from the guy who skipped breakfast so we could eat here at lunch!) There was a man playing a piano which was nice to hear / see. Toilets are on the top floor but there seems to be only one per gender so maybe a wait to use if it's busy. You can dine inside, there's a few tables outside the front and there was a garden out the back with several tables (but we not being used by the looks of it for some reason). I chose to purchase an extra scone as take out for my lunch tomorrow. Highly recommended & I'll be back when I next visit Canterbury!

Scones was really good... both plain and sultana... which was huge yet crunchy on the outside... was a little disappointing with the jam though, expected a better quality jam. Coffee and Tea was really good as well. Service was remarkable by our server..

Tiny Tim's Tearoom twas tremendous, ticking the tea and treat tickle that tugged my tummy. Afternoon tea at Tiny Tim's left me filled with all the Tea I could handle. I decided to go with the Afternoon Tea for Two which included a free glass of prosecco. Minus the prosecco, which tasted quite peppery, everything was amazing and neither of us could finish it all. The scones alone looked as though they could help with the restoration of the cathedral being the size of giant blocks but equally light and fluffy which was surprising. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy, an old building full of character and history. I would definitely revisit, but maybe for tea and a smaller bit of cake next time.

Amazing food, perfect full English breakfast. Excellent gluten free options. Fantastic service. All in a beautiful extremely old haunted building. Throughly enjoyed the whole experience. Photos of the ghost room upstairs.

I went to Tiny Tim's Tearoom in Canterbury, UK, and the people there were nice and helpful. But there's something I want to talk about. I ordered a scone set for £4.85. It came with a scone, jam, and clotted cream. The scone was really good, and I liked the jam and cream with it. Later, I asked for more clotted cream and were charged £4.50 for it, almost the same as the whole scone set! I felt like this was too much money for just a bit more cream. I was kind of surprised and not very happy about it. The tearoom was cozy, and the people were friendly. But I think they charged me too much for the extra cream, and that made me feel disappointed.

A Canterbury legend; quite rightly loved and adored. Fabulous food in an intimate garden setting. A peaceful sanctuary in the centre of Canterbury. Perfect outside on a sunny day, thank you!
