Good food, Great service, beautiful atmosphere. This cozy restaurant offers large and small dishes of Spain and Morocco and is great for tapas and tangines. Loved the separate vegan menu with a plethora of choices. While I prefer food with a little more spiciness and flavor, everything here was fres
This is a great little restaurant. The manager was very accommodating and able to give us a table on a busy Friday evening at short notice. There is a good mixture of mezze and big plates. The staff are also super friendly and attentive. Overall would highly recommend!
We had the tapas dishes which were more Spanish inspired. Every dish was good and we had some house wine as well. We wanted to book a table over the phone but there were none available at the time. In the end, we managed to get a table without a booking or queuing. It was overall a nice environment
Food was delicious and highly recommend, however it was very warm when sat downstairs. The seat I had was on the right next to a wall which was very small and not very comfortable. It was not very busy but if it was full I'd feel a bit claustrophobic. Besides that, very nice decoration and you no lo
The ambience and decor is amazing and you really feel like you're in Morocco. Its really cosy (and you can comfortably be socially distanced). The food was great and there were many vegan options. The houmous, aubergine stew, calamari and pork belly were top notch, everything was well seasoned. Tea
Very nice! Loved the atmosphere and the cushioned seats! Food was very tasty and friendly staff, we went to Canterbury for the day and really glad we came across this place!
Wonderful atmosphere, ordered halumi bruchette and chicken sausage bruchette, roast pots and olive feta stater. It was delicious, plenty of it, excellent value for money would recommend đź‘Ť
We were looking for something different for lunch but not the usual pizzas and burgers that seem so common in this area. We spotted this place while walking around and popped in. The staff were friendly and helpful, answering questions we had about the menu. Service was quick and the food excellent.
Loved the tapas board and sautéed seafood. Service was attentive but slow as the place was packed.
Have been in Canterbury many times and always enjoy dining in town. Made Mauresque is another little New discover foe us. The service very friendly and food are delicious.
I came here for lunch on a rainy Saturday and I am so glad I did! The halloumi sandwich was so yummy and the date pudding was delightful. Although it said ice cream on the menu, they brought me cream but that was soon rectified. The whole decor and bathrooms were beautiful also. The staff were frien
We stumbled upon this restaurant after walking into town, both hungry for Tapas and boy did they not disappoint! Starting with the warm welcome, we were lead downstairs with a choice of tables. The waitress was attentive but not too in your face and her timings for service were spot on. As we hadn’t
I ate here on a Wednesday evening in September. The restaurant has a very pleasant feel; softly lit, uncrowded and relaxed. I was visiting Canterbury and Cafe Mauresque was recommended by the owner of the B&B where I was staying. Located centrally, close to the Cathedral, one of the best local optio
