Absolutely loved these tea rooms!! Was worth the 45 minute drive from my home. I took my mum for her birthday as she loves the old fashioned architecture!! The High Tea was delicious and the service from ALL staff was beyond great!! We spent over and hour and half here and even though we couldn’t finish the entire High Tea, the staff were more than happy to box up our cakes individually for us to take home!!! We shall definitely be returning and I have recommended on FB too!!

Myself and my two daughters popped in yesterday. We wanted a treat after the hustle and bustle of Canterbury and its tourist s. What a delightful place it was, a lovely lady who served us and nothing was too much trouble. There is an astonishing selection of loose leaf tea, so many too choose from. I highly recommend the kent apple and the love potion no9 served in indiviual tea pots with the most delightful china pattened cup and saucer. The selection of cakes displayed in the window are very enticing we ordered a slice of traitional victoria sponge, lemon drizzle and carrot cake. We tried each others cakes and decided they were all equally delicious and we would have been happy with any ofthe cakes on offer.
There is a lovely calming quaint atmosphere inside so much so that when you are sitting there looking out at everyone rushing by you feel as if you are another world. One of my daughter's loved the love potion no9 tea so much that she insisted on buying a bag of the tea to take home with her. I can't rate our experience highly enough and five stars doesn't seem to do it justice definitely a 10/10 experience for me. Thank you for making it so wonderful!

we had a very memorable time at this lovely quaint tea room the occasion was Mothering Sunday 13/3/18 a gift of love to thank the mums and also a birthday the staff were helpful the food was fresh and a lovely selection of sandwiches warm scones with jam and cream wonderfull cakes and a very good selection of leaf teas and coffee a very happy family will recommend and will look forward to returning thanking all concerned

I simply love this place! Quaint to just the right degree, lovely service, and top quality afternoon tea. Varied selection of unusual loose-leaf tea and special coffees. The Champagne cream tea is also very good.

Best chocolate cake ever! Came across the tea room wandering around Canterbury, cakes looked yummy and proper tea and coffee. Certainly lived up to expectations.

Brilliant customer service, and a super accommodating team. I went there on a date with my partner, and the wait staff were extremely helpful for two people unfamiliar with the teas. Whilst the prices are a little more expensive than some other places, the plates were piled high with food (we couldn't finish our meals), and the flavours were superb, with plenty of options to choose from. The quality is high, and it makes the price worth it. An overall wonderful experience and I will certainly be coming here again!
We had 2 Special Cream Tea (for lunch/afternoon tea), and it was great!! The place is very cute, the staff is lovely, the food and teas are great, I would definitely recommend!

Best afternoon tea I have come across. Great selection of teas and cakes. Great atmosphere. Ps. there is a beautiful and flower decorated secret garden.
What a lovely little find. Lots of what you’d want and expect from a tea room but also, more! The selection of coffees is almost as impressive as the teas. Staff were so polite, friendly and attentive, a quirky building and due to the location of the building was a perfect place to cool down in this beautiful English summer we are having.

What a wonderful place! The tea and cake are both excellent. I’m specially amazed by Blue Lady, it’s with special aroma，elegant, not too floral , we bought some bags back home. The hostess is also very kind and patient for introduction. Here would be the reason for me to come back 😊
Warm scones, clotted cream and Frank Sinatra playing in the background... Just a dream!!! We have been there last summer, you were about to close but you let us sit anyway, as a result, the tea room all for us❤️! It was definitely worth it!! Lovely afternoon tea! Delicious cakes (we had chocolate cake and carrot cake), nice and warm scones with clotted cream and jam and fresh sandwiches. Sandwiches could use more filling for my taste, but otherwise great food. Huge variety of teas to choose from and really nice quality. Would definitely recommend for tea and cake.
