Lovely pub/bar/restaurant which has a tardis-like, very cool interior, seating out the front (people watching prime position!), and the loveliest courtyard I have seen in a while! Fantastic, friendly staff and amazing vegan food make this place a must! I would recommend the Greenhouse Burger (tofu bacon �) and the special Southern Fried Jackfruit 'Chicken' Burger .. oh and the vegan desserts are to die for ��
Went here for the fist time as we were visiting Canterbury for the first time. Instantly fell in love with the place. The atmosphere and the music were fantastic. The staff were so friendly and chatty. Made us feel really welcome. If I lived here this would be my regular haunt. Highly recommend the food too. Their vegetarian and vegan range is brilliant. Top class for me �
Came for lunch with my friend today after seeing how great the choice was for vegetarians... we were not disappointed, the menu- brilliant, the staff - very friendly! The choice of drinks is amazing with cocktails, shooters, the rum menu and great choice on draught! We can't wait to come back!xx
It's not just because of the awesome atmosphere.
It isn't even all about the great Metal and Rock music, and huge selection of rums, ales and other bevvies.
It's mainly about the wonderful staff and friendly faces that go there.
Manners cost nothing as Lemmy said and I'm sure if he ever drank at the Lady Luck he'd love it as much as we do!!!

I came to Canterbury especially to go to The Monument because I'd heard good things but they were closed for a private function. I was pretty annoyed but after going to the Lady Luck I feel so much better! I'm vegan and they had plenty of options not just on the menu but on the specials board too. The food came quickly, it was still hot, and although it didn't look that special it tasted amazing. The person who served me was so friendly and helpful, and it's exactly my kind of place. I'm glad I found it and I'll definitely be visiting again.
It was also my omni friend's first taste of vegan food, and he said he'd be happy to eat it again. I take that as a win!
All round fab..! Great staff, atmosphere, food & drink. Both in quieter daytimes and loud evening music events. Brilliant X
Love the Lady Luck the food is great, I am vegan as are my daughter and her fiancé we eat here often because their menu for vegan and vegetarian is really really good . I can't tell you how good this is except that we love it . Go try it for yourself it's a great atmosphere , nice staff, and for and older generation rock addict it is great
My first visit here tonight, and omg I loved it. I'm a heavy metal fan, and this was the perfect bar for me. Not perfectly dolled up teenagers sipping their cocktails, but cider in plastic cups, live music a metre away from the standing area, and down to earth, music loving people wearing the tshirts of the bands they love.
I am 100% going to go here again, very soon!!!!

Had lunch today with colleagues, food was excellent and menu catered for all our tastes. Service was great. Will definitely be visiting again. Thanks all.
Travelled over 50 miles to see a specific band but the venue made it! Fantastic range of drinks, reasonably priced and friendly staff. I'll definitely make the effort to go again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves their live music.
The Lady Luck is a rock n’ roll bar in the heart of Canterbury.
Relax during the day and enjoy a meal with a wide range of craft beer, real ale and ciders. They have a secluded courtyard garden and seating outside the front of the pub for sunny days.
Visit them in the evenings for social drinks and a friendly atmosphere.
Dog friendly inside and out! They welcome well behaved dogs and under 18’s until 8pm.
They often host music events that are performed by acts from around the county and far beyond. If you love loud, rock, metal or any other genre linked then you won't come away disappointed.
If you're into the alternative music scene, cone to the Luck. If you're looking for something new, come to the Luck. In fact, if you like good beer, good food and good staff... Yeh, you know the drill. Top pub.
Lady Luck located in Canterbury town is a nice bar to enjoy a glass of chilled beer or some wine! We tried their mulled wine with rum shot and it turned out to be really good.
Their garlic bread was also crunchy and delicious.
Orders needs to be placed at the bar and the food or drink would be then served at your table.

The Lady Luck is an amazing rock music themed pub restaurant with the most incredible vegan/vegetarian menu. Abbey was friendly, polite and helpful and the food was insanely good! Like, the BEST chips ever! I will come back to Lady Luck every time I come back to Canterbury. It's the very heart!

Just what you want from a pub and more. Really tasty and creative vegan offerings, lovely service from staff. Choice of street side tables, courtyard seating, or indoors.
Lady Luck isn't just a Canterbury staple and historic hot-spot. It's a unique pub with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, superb food including plant-based options, and an events schedule that gives just enough atmosphere.
I highly recommend trying any of their specials - their chef does great work, and the owner gets their elbows in behind the bar in a way which leaves everyone feeling welcome. Definitely give this pub a go.

The whole place looks so retro. Love the rock/old school aesthetic, it really gives you that ‘pub feel’.
Only ever been here for drinks. The staff are always lovely and friendly. I remember a time when there was a drunk customer on their own, and a stranger was trying to encourage them to buy drinks for his whole group, had alot of respect for the staff who refused to let the customer be taken advantage of by someone who was just using them to get free drinks. Made it feel like a safe place to go for drinks where the staff will look out for you.
