First time here but it definitely won’t be the last. Staff lovely & friendly, food is amazing - really good portion’s & piping hot. The garlic mushrooms are the best we’ve ever had. Prawn cocktail was full of prawns. The lasagna is fantastic too. Thank you for a wonderful meal - see you soon

Carvery was good! Potatoes tasted crunchy and soft, and the beef was tender. Would have preferred veg like carrots and peas etc rather than a carrot and suede mash. But I would definitely eat there again.

Lovely pub. Had a nice beer before having a lovely meal. Good menu. All served in a timely manner. Photo shows baked salmon meal, off the board. Delish. Like the boards with different sayings above the bar and doors. The only negative, it's not that welcoming but we went passed that. Life is what you make it and enjoyedxeach others company. Would eat there again. Plenty of parking. Don't let garage next door put you off!!

Great place for food. Walked in and sometimes when it's people's local u get looks and don't feel welcome but we didn't experience that. They were welcoming and the service was great. They had quite a few people in for food and explained there might be a slight delay but didn't feel that it took a long time. Food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Would definitely go back if in the area. Thanku 😊

Even though we live in the Southwest, it's always a little bit nervy going into a pub in a small local town. Needn't have worried, service fantastic, fish and chips great (doing a roaring takeaway trade), and good ale. One thing to understand - as in my own town - these places are local hubs, not necessarily tourist destinations. Treat people politely and with respect, and you'll find the Southwest is one of the most amazing places.

Went for carvery, very popular, we were in the second sitting, a little wait over our time, but the food was worth the wait. Good helping of meat and whatever you wanted with the veg.

Really good service 👏 and amazing sandwiches 🥪 for lunch. Beef and horseradish ones with good horseradish that makes your nose sing. Prawn sandwiches with a good amount of them. Definitely worth a visit.
