Loved visiting here, was made welcome from the start and drinks arrived swiftly. Order taken, food arrived in good time too and was well presented and oooooh so nice! Loverly atmosphere and our waitress Sarah was very attentive and welcoming will definitely be returning :-)
I had such a lovely experience at The Green Man in Cambridge this evening after winner next to nothing at the Newmarket races.
Sarah was our waitress and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival.
I ordered the Fillet Steak medium rare and I kid you not, this was nicer than any Miller and Carter restaurant I have visited. The steak was the right colour and was nice and warm upon arrival. I would say my steak experience was better than visiting a Gaucho’s steak house in London, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!!
This is my first visit with friends and will definitely return next time I’m in the area 😁

Visited with some friends for a midweek meal, very friendly staff, great service and great food. We’ll be back again no doubt. I had the whipped Brie starter which was better than expected. And the pork belly without scallops. Which was absolutely fantastic. The crackling wasn’t quite perfect but still very impressive.
Lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and didn't rush us when they realised we were lovely ladies catching up with each other. Food was delicious, I had the beef brisket and cheese pie which was delicious 😋
Me and my family came here for a nice meal and we were blown away by the quality of the food- it was delicious, worth every penny! (I had the three cheese pizza with chitakee mushrooms) And the ambience and decor was so elegant.
The perfect place to go for a fancy meal, we will definitely go again!
The food was magnificent. We sat in the garden Sunday lunchtime, it was really busy. Ordered using the app on my phone. Brilliant. Only thing was when the food was served, we had no cutlery or condiments. We sat for what seemed like ages with our food cooling, before the waiter eventually returned with them.

Roasts at the Green Man are the best in town! Can't help but come back again - today was no exception. Sarah was so friendly and helpful, and helped us with dietary requirements.
The food was delicious, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Sarah was a great server, very helpful and accommodating. I have food sensitivities, and she was great at making sure my meal did not contain any allergens. A very wonderful experience.
Had our Christmas dinner here. Atmosphere was amazing. This place is so lovely, that fireplace in the middle is just great.
Unfortunately all veg (green beans, sprouts, carrots) been absolutely undercooked it seemed like they haven’t even seen the boiling water but other than that everything was great.
This pub is just lovely! There were 14 of us and we all pre-ordered lunch, which was delicious, ranging from Tempura prawn sandwiches to nourish bowls and burgers. The food was cooked perfectly and was all hot where appropriate. Everyone said they really enjoyed their dishes. The restaurant staff were great and nothing was too much or too little for them or the bar staff. The environment is very relaxing and I love the lighting. The signature sodas are fantastic!
Came here for a catch up dinner with friends. Really nice interior design and calm atmosphere, nice food - especially the fries were yum! The staff was friendly, Sarah took great care of us. Would come here again.
Great meal as always here! Lovely drink and food choices on the menu, and the staff are always so accommodating.

Rhys was really courteous, often asking whether the food was okay and if there was anything else we needed. He has looked after our table before and has always provided excellent service.
Although we had a large table, the food arrived at the same time and was nice, despite the fact that the steaks had a slight taste of burned grill.
The staff were amazing, friendly, helpful & attentive. However, we had been held up by traffic & had phoned to inform the restaurant that although we were going to be late we were still definitely still coming. When we arrived we were told they were just about to cancel our booking, I pointed out that I had phoned twice to say we were on our way but they had been too busy to answer the phone or check messages. Despite this it didn't spoil our visit as all the staff we had contact with were very attentive.
Service by Sarah was really great. She made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We followed her recommendations and these proved to be perfect for us. The food was very good and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Food temperature could be improved as my friends food was not hot enough. We also asked for more vegetables but these were provided.

We had only booked the day before, so had been allocated the last free table for 2, right by the door/stairs. Husband wasn't keen to sit there, and a member of staff went out of her way to source us a better table (ensuring we had drinks, whilst waiting!). A perfect table was found. Atmosphere & decor, wonderful. Food/service couldn't be faulted. 10/10.
