If you just want something quick to eat its fine, it does get very busy and they have a habit of not giving the correct food or not giving some items at all, always check before you leave with a takeaway.
McDonald’s has 7 ordering kiosks, 1 counter, and app ordering options. Multiple tables are available in the services centre (shared between all food places) if wanting to eat-in. The wait between ordering and having food-in-hand was only a couple minutes, but coffee wasn’t great - we’ve had it many times before and this was different, and binned at the next stop.
Ordered via the mac'ds app and waited 5 mins for the order. Food was hot so I actually enjoyed a mac'ds for the first time in ages!
I've stopped reviewing McDonald's long time ago due to attitude and inefficiency and inconsistent food and service.
Today I was IMPRESSED by Emily, she's by far the best staff I've seen in fast food restaurant. She's fast, efficient, and smiling, yes she smiles at customers! Can you imagine someone bringing back a small touch of personal connection with the chain? She doesn't say: number twenty something, instead she says, guest twenty something, smiles, asks you if you want sauce, sugar, thanks you.
Thank you Emily, I know the place was understaffed and you were buzzing like a bee at midnight.

Simply satisfying.
I got there at a very odd time and expected the attendant to be rude but surprisingly they were totally pplite and with smiles!!!
Would totally visit when the emergency minchies hooks on. 😂
came here for the kfc. there is one kfc in Cambridge city but without parking. It is good to have a new one near Bar Hill whete we can park easily. Furthermore, there are other choices here incl. MacDonalds, sandwiches, etc, allowing family members and friends to choose their favorites.
Was heading home northbound from Stansted Airport, pulled in for a bite, the person serving has been super efficient, there was a minimal staff on the night. Very well done.
Incredible cleanliness, not a speck on the table. Staff are kind and will politely clean around you while eating.
The food is incredible and fresh.

Motorway are what they are. How can the generate an atmosphere when all people want to do is get out of there and on with their journey. As for service, it was mad busy and they did exceptionally well under the circumstances. Food? It's a McDonald's.
