I booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend and it didn't disappoint. The food was very nice and there was lots to choose from on the menu and the deserts were amazing 😍. The decor is absolutely breathtaking and added to the calming atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and asked if we had any allergies which I thought was good. The service was a little slow and I felt like some tables got more service and quality from the staff than others. Overall we had a lovely experience with tasty Thai food 😊. Would definitely come back!
Unfortunately they had run out of several items on the menu making our choices a little difficult. Food was delicious, though service was a bit slow.
The dessert menu was sold out and the coffee machine was broken.
Overall not the best visit but still enjoyed the food that we had.
A memorable Evening of Delectable Delights and Exceptional Service.
The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed elegant dining experience. The restaurant's tasteful décor, adorned with beautiful flowers, added a touch of charm to the ambiance.
The menu was delightful array of options, catering to various tastes and preferences. My colleague opted for the Pad Thai, and I decided to try their Honey Seafood with a Garlic noodle and Salt and Pepper Squid. Each dish was a masterpiece of flavours, expertly crafted and served with artistic presentation. The Pad Thai had an authentic Thai tastes, bursting with fresh ingredients, while Honey Seafood dish was a perfect blend of sweet and savoury, accompanied by flavourful; garlic noodle. The Salt and Pepper Squid was a mouth-watering delight, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Throughout the evening, the service was impeccable. Attentive and courteous staff members ensured that out needs were met promptly, and they were more than willing to offer recommendations and cater to any requests.
The added convenience of nearby free car parking in the evening was a unexpected bonus, making our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Great range of choice for Thai food, and the food is absolutely delicious. I got the duck spring rolls to start and my partner got the vegetable spring rolls. 10/10 I had the pad Thai for my main and it was fantastic. Not normally a huge Thai fan but this place was fantastic. My partner had Thai green which delicious, quite spicy tho! Would definitely add this to your places to try.
We loved this place the minute I saw what it was called while walking around Cambridge, We went in shortly after reading the name above the door. The atmosphere inside is very unique, flowers everywhere, nice tables and chairs, and there’s even a gazebo inside! The menu is jam packed full of tasty sounding options which made picking something a little difficult to be honest. Luckily for us the staff was happy to help by providing some of their favorite items and pointing out some of the most frequently ordered dishes on the menu. Our food came hot, fresh, and quickly. It was all delicious and we left with full bellies. This was truly a great experience and I would not even have to think twice about returning and dining here again. My favorite item that we tried would have to be the Massaman Chicken, it was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Fantastic service provided by Andy, the manager. The food was good but not amazing. Nice plating through. Very good money value. The atmosphere was good , not posh. I strongly recommend this place , we will definitely return.
Had an amazing time at this restaurant today. The food was delicious, service was not bad and the decor is beautiful!! The best part is they have a whole vegan menu which is not common.
We had Spring rolls, Spicy rice balls, Penang curry , Pad Thai noodles, Green curry and Pina colada in drinks. The quantity is quite less but the food taste was pretty good. You can skip the spicy rice balls as it was below average in taste but rest was decent . I would recommend Green curry over Penang curry. Overall a great experience. Would definitely visit again when in UK next time.
Very good service from a young & attentive waitress. So tasty Asian fusion food! And the decor is so charming. (Not our first time here & will keep coming!)
Best Thai food iv had in England. Took me back to Thailand! Decor really nice, very quick service, friendly staff. It was recommened to us and now we've already recommended it to our friends.
Amazing restaurant, we showed up spontaneously on our day trip to Cambridge on the weekend. We had to wait about an hour to get a free table so went for a coffee first. Recommended you book a table in advance. Great food but a really amazing decor. The only negative is that the tables are extremely close to each other to fit in the most people possible. There is no privacy unless you get a table in one of the cages.
The food was spot on 👌🏾. The decor and ambiance was amazing. The staff were friendly. Will defiantly recommend this place.
Loved this place. Excellent service. Especially with the dietary requirement I had. The manager Noy took time to help me decide what I could have. The kind and joyful welcome was refreshing and made us feel like we had made the best choice of where to visit to eat. I would highly recommend this place.
I would have better pictures, but we were too excited to eat the food, we forgot to take the pics.
A MUST if you are in the area, and even if your elsewhere in Cambridge, go for it. Food was delicious, service was mind-bogglingly fast, they were sold out on some items sadly, but that’s fine. Staff are quite nice, wish I could come back to this place again.
Really lovely dinner! We had the shared starter (Chang Mai) and everyone had a different favourite; they were all good. We also had the mussels with some roti on the side, and the sauce was delicious. We followed this with three mains and two rice to share. Again, all excellent (duck red curry, prawn massaman, sticky chicken, jasmine rice, sticky rice).
And the icing on the cake was the service, which was natural and attentive. I highly recommend a visit!
Very nice looking restaurant from the outside and lovely decor on the inside. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food did not take too long to arrive and it was presented in a nice way although not practical to eat out of but after asking for plates there was fine. The food tasted good and everyone enjoyed their dishes. We did ask for a teaspoon for a toddler but the waitress never did bring one in the end... The menu is very accommodating, with some vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options to cater for most diets. The stairs down to the toilets were quite steep so not easy for children or less abled. It is worth a visit if you fancy Thai food.
Such a delight to be meeting up to help celebrate a friend's birthday ... I have only visited the giggling squid once before, for my daughter's 40th birthday last August. A joy to visit again.
A warm welcome, with limited mobility, using a wheeled walker, I am assisted to navitage through the double doors, very efficiently. Taken to our table, ensuring we are comfortable and happy. Staff very attentive, taking our drink order, such a helpful gentleman taking our food order, answering our questions, offering suggestions. I am not adventurous in any way with food ... with encouragement I choose a starter, pork dumplings, not something I have ever tried, for main, lamb shank in a rich and tasty sauce with vegetables, another first for me, coconut milk, part of the recipe/ingredients. Though it didn't list coconut milk within its ingredients, I really enjoyed the taste experience. Both choices were excellent. Three of the birthday party guests sampled shots of tequila , not something I have ever tried. Thank you to the lovely staff of giggling squid for giving us such great service, with a smile.
