Dinner with the family and kids. Mike and his staff were fantastic in looking after us as soon as we were seated. Patient and attentive to our requests even with kids being kids. Service was quick, efficient, accommodating with a good attitude. Food very good. There's a large terraced area at the re
Very good dining. Cod a bit overpriced and overcook for what you get. Apart from that it was good dining experience.
Attention to detail on the pub classics. There was perfectly seasoned fries, a nicely cut little gem lettuce leaf in the burger with a large tomato slice, fresh brioche, a homemade style relish along with hand pressed burger patty’s with a plant based alternative on offer. The service was wonderful
The outdoor seating and indoor spaces are really nice here. We had solid drinks and pretty good burgers! I’d definitely be back to try some of the fancier entrees
Fantastic food and service. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and it was busy but the service was still fantastic. We had a wonderful waiter called Callum who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We ate: Scallops with pea puree Camembert with red onion and gluten free bread C
Just getting better and better. Top notch lunch. Great service. Bit spendy but great value options at lunchtime ( pizza and sandwiches). They always have lovely staff and happy to see some that have been there for a while.
Great place. Good quality-price. Good service. Great location, is on the countryside of Cambridge but it has easy parking for cars and a cab from Cambridge City Center was £12. Highly recommended.
We are regulars at the Plough so would not normally think to write a review. However dinner at the Plough last night was superb and deserves a mention. We had the fillet steak which was so tasty and tender and cooked just how we like it. The courgette side was truly delicious. Excellent wines by the
Excellent food. I had roast duck, plenty of food, very nice dessert and starter. Couldn't fault it. Efficient and friendly service. People were also prepared to sit outside. So must be popular especially now weather has got a bit cooler. Plenty of parking as well.
We had an evening meal without a prior booking and were really fortunate to get a table. Our waitress was attentive but not 100% familiar with the menu and specials. Our wine was excellent and not too expensive. The food was very good, far exceeding standard pub fare and our expectations. The noise
Fantastic dinning experience. We were staying in hotel close by and decided to venture to this local gastro pub for a drink. We were so impressed, we decided to book for Sunday lunch the next day. Luckily we managed to get booked in. It did not disappoint! We both went for the pork roast. Generous
Perfect for an early Sunday dinner on a summer evening. They have a fun small playground for kids. Loved it.
This is the best restaurant in the area!! The restaurant itself is very cosy and they have a nice terrace outside, which is the perfect location if the weather is nice. The food is good, and they have a good selection of wines. But the best about The Plough is the service. They make you feel welcome
I must admit I was a little disappointed. Food was nice, but there was no 'wow' and for the prices, I had high expectations. Sticky Toffee pudding was served barely warm (not hot) and as no-one came to check on it, we weren't able to ask to have it re-heated. However, we mentioned this to a wai
Visited this pub today for a birthday lunch. Fantastic food, great attentive service and a lovely local pub atmosphere. This is a Gastro Pub and of high quality and the prices reflect that, but they compare well to other similar establishments. As a wheelchair user, the pub is accessible, with go
Brilliant pub. Staff and customers are friendly and chill. The service is super efficient but without making you feel rushed. Quite the opposite actually. The choice of drinks is amazingly well curated. I fully intend to work my way through all the food menu. Had the pork roast, torched mackerel, ri
Absolutely beautiful place. Walked here from my accommodation (rectory farm) and the food was incredible. Staff were lovely and attentive, despite it being busy. Beautiful seat under a tree watching the world go by. Totally recommend.
