Interesting Menu The menu is very different to other restaurants in Cambridge. A lot of seafood options. The pasta dishes were nice and unique. With generous amount of seafood. Will try other things in the menu next time. Little bit surprised about the old stains on the cup and teapot, as it's a relatively high rated restaurant in Cambridge. Hope that the china will be cleaned well next time. I think this restaurant will be crazily popular if it's located down town!

Were there with the family and we really enjoyed our dinner. The pizzas were delicious and the staff were very welcoming. The pizza from kids menu was as big as normal pizzas on other restaurants, as were our pizzas, we couldnt finish them all. Will definitely going back and definitely recommend to try this place

Good enough pizza 🍕. I like the dough as it doesn't make you feel overloaded, yet bit dry for my taste. Ingredients & presentation seems authentic Italian (Tony, Sea food, etc.). I would get again if I don't visit Italy 🇮🇹.

Excellent food and service. Love the taste of Sicily and the pistachio touch on most food items. I have been here multiple times and will come again.

We enjoyed a really nice dinner here. It was easy to book online and we got seated just before it got really busy in the restaurant. The menu looked great with a lot of seafood dishes, I was a bit hesitant to try the seafood since Cambridge isn't anyway near the sea but the seafood dishes ended up being the best of the night!. We ordered the seafood and meat Arancini out of which the seafood one was hands down better for me. Our mains were the seafood linguine and meat risotto, my partner found the risotto too watery and added quite a bit more parmesan to make it creamy. My seafood linguine was amazing, i don't know if they used a broth but the linguine tasted just like the sea. Delicious! Dessert was the fried pizza dough with Cinnamon sugar which was light and airy. Very tasty. Only thing I would recommend was the restaurant felt like a showroom with all the lights on and everything ramped up to full brightness. A little gentler lighting or even switching off half the bright lights would have helped the atmosphere be a bit more intimate and less like a showroom/laboratory. But otherwise would recommend, Be warned portions are huge so go hungry!

Wow! The best italian food I've had since my trip to Rome in Summer. The decor is lovely and its easily accessed from the Leisure Park. I had the Octopus Carpaccio starter which was £11, one of their cheaper options, but I was torn between two or three attractive dishes. I was delighted with my choice as the texture and tastes for this starter were perfect and I was happy to keep the bill slightly lower. For mains, I chose to persist with seafood and selected, against my usual restaurant choices where I avoid overly carby meals, the seafood risotto. It was delicious, but moreso it was plentiful. There were numerous mussels and other elements of mixed seafood and I was very happy with my choice again. Finally, I decided to have a dessert, which is rare for me on an evening meal out, and saw that they had Sicilian Cannoli on the menu. Nowhere in the UK have I yet to have a satisfactory cannolo and the larger sicilian variety seem even more scarce. It was perfect. It was filled to the brim with ricotta with a scattering of chocolate chips throughout and a dusting of Pistachio, and at 5.50 (when the cheapest I could find in Rome was around 3 euros) how can you not love this. I've traveled to Rome, Napoli and Venice in the last few years and this still ranks as one of the best Italian meals I've had. My partner who dined with me had one of their pizzas, though I can only recall it had onion and sausage, but the small amount I had was remarkably delectable. And I usually am not a fan of "authentic" Italian thin crust pizzas, but this was exceptional. This is a top restaurant and as authentic an Italian as you can hope to find in the UK. Grazie mille! Update: we used their services to treat our boarding students at my work. They catered for a party of 33 effortlessly and professionally. On this visit I had the calamari which was lovely and perfectly cooked (no rubbery feeling), followed by an incredibly generous pizza frutta Di mare, and a lovely tiramasu

So good we ended up going twice while there. I strongly advice the carbonara: one of the few places with real guanciale.

Nice place for dining, fresh food served in good portions, although mozzarella and risotto were a bit dry for my taste.

An excellent Italian restaurant on the busy Hills Road in Cambridge. Always bustling, but very easy to find the seat. I would recommend booking in advance on a Saturday evening, especially for parties larger than four. Their pizzas are amazing, as they have a pizza oven tucked away at the back. They have a wide range of pasta dishes, with something for all the family. The wind lists focuses on Italian bottles, with rapidly rising price points although the overall quality is good. A firm favourite for our family, and we always bring guests who miss their Mediterranean food fix.

Very good food with large tasty portions. The staff was very helpful, everything we needed was immediately there to help and serve us. the store does not have parking very close so you have to look for it well around. The environment and the decor, nice but not something special. But at the end of the day food is what counts and believe me it will compensate you.

I love coming here, everything is always so delicious. Arancini are a must try, and their pizza is amazing, a super light and fluffy dough with really good quality toppings. Try their calzone definitely.

Al Pomodoro has recently moved and reopened on Hills road. It is very busy since, but we managed to get a table for a small dinner. The menu is very extensive including many vegetarian and other choices, so we will be back to try more dishes. So far, it is delicious. I liked the orecchiette. It does get quite noisy when it's busy. The bathrooms are clean and nice.

Super delicious food!! I had scrumptious mushroom pasta and daughter has wonderful pizza. Coupled with some merlot we had an excellent dinner which we really enjoyed. The staff were lovely and efficient, and though mid week the restaurant was busy with a great vibe. Thank you. Would definitely recommend highly.

The food here is delicious! They have a big selection of things to choose from and all reasonably priced. I would particularly recommend the Norma pizza - the aubergine on it was so crisp and tasty. Would be nice to see the interior decor be changed up a bit to make it feel more its own place (it’s quite similar to the restaurant that was here before), but still has a nice atmosphere regardless.
