They are working hard
Never a big fan of sushi, but I am going to give a positive review.
I think the quality, presentation and technique are improving over the years. The sushi rolls were no long broken when I picked them up with chopsticks. The fish in the sushi was fresher than I remembered too.
It's more authentic than those supermarkets sushi already. More reasonable price than a lot of luxury restaurants too. Authentic Japanese restaurants in UK can be crazily expensive.
Only Japan can provide the best sushi in the world, it's common sense. While this restaurant is in UK, so there's no point to compare. To me it's one of the best sushi places we can get at Cambridge already.
Clearly the restaurant is under strict management. They are working hard to improve. Most importantly, they take customers' opinion seriously. Sincere production crew.
Well done and good luck!
As a party of two ..we sat down and ordered all you can eat Sushi for £24.99. Reasonable quality large portion sizes. Just about managed a 2nd order. Fried noodles not enjoyable otherwise 8/10 all round. Staff friendly and helpful. Very well supported by the local community.

Nice restaurant. Good experience. Clean restaurant and toilet.
The order came quick but the second time we ordered, took a little while to come. Other than that, I really appreciated it.
There is great choice of Sushi and other dishes. Most of the food was really good. The King Prawn Tempura was not crispy as expected. You can eat unlimited for £25 and you have 01:45min available. There is also a la carte menu available if you prefer. The service was good and overall, we had a great night out. Within walking distance from Grand Arcade car park.

Decent sushi for takeaway, and especially good range of vegan options. The larger rolls were definitely the go, and the seaweed ones were my favourite. Nicely packed, and a very good Monday night meal.
Get a Japanese fine dine experience here at Sushimania with variety of sushi options to choice and bentos. I recommend try their Tempura as they are always serving it hot🍤🍤🍤
I've been here a few times and keep returning with new people who all have had as good an experience as me!
There's a wide range of vegan options which are all reasonably priced. Especially if you order off of the 50% off menu at lunchtime. If you're vegan/vegetarian with a meat eater, I wouldn't recommend the all you can eat sushi deal as there is less variety, although still good, that's definitely better for people who eat meat/fish.
Staff have always been polite and efficient. I've never had an issue. It shouldn't need to be said, but after reading reviews, the only thing I can suggest is treat people (including staff) how you expect to be treated and I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. I have only ever had one small issue here (happens to the best of us), and after speaking to a member of staff, it was resolved quickly, efficiently and politely.
Just be aware of what you're ordering as it can be very easy to get carried away and unfortunately you can't take home any leftovers.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and wait to introduce someone else next month!
Before COVID pandemic, I used to come here with friends for All-you-can-eat deals and we really enjoyed it a lot! Recently I have been back 3-4 times for quick lunch with A la carte options (half-price deal) It was soooooo gooood!!!
Great taste, generous portions, fantastic customer service, good price too!!! It is now my go-to Japanese fusion in Cambridge!!!
I 💜 Sushimania 🍱
Came here twice for some late night half priced sushi. Amazing value for money and my friends and I felt the sushi was excellent quality and plenty to choose from. No problems with the service. I thought they did really well in checking our order and highlighting any potential issues. I would highly recommend a visit
Fantastic experience and the food was amazing!!
There was 4 in our party (3 x adults, 1 x 1yo).We all had the 'all you can eat' for which we didn't have to pay for our son even though he was still allowed to eat. You can pick a maximum of 6 items per side of the menu (12 in total) per 15 minutes for the table.
The menu is very extensive ranging from starters such as dumplings and miso soup to the usual sushi rolls and ramen/ udon ramen. Particular favourites were the chicken gyozas, crispy salmon skin rolls, beef yakitori and the char siu ramen in miso broth.
The staff were very attentive which made the mandatory 10% service charge perfectly acceptable.
All in all an amazing location, food and staff and we will be back in the future.
Nice restaurant with all you can eat sushi. £20.80 per person and you can only order 6 dishes at a time/order.
If you’re in Cambridge, I would recommend. We’ve had better sushi but for the “buffet” concept, this is good enough. We really enjoyed the Unagi nigiri, tofu in teriyaki sauce, and the salmon skin roll temaki.
Come here for the all you can eat sushi buffet. Once you place your order you'll receive a qr code which means you can order via your phone.
The great thing about this buffet is you have access to all the hot and cold options. You still pay for drinks though, which are a little on the expensive side but who cares when you're stuffing yourself with sushi?
The amount you can order has some limits on quantity within a time perios, but honestly we found that two rounds was plenty for us and we were comfortably within the time limit.
If you're a small eater you're probably better to go a la carte, and don't expect to be able to take anything away with you, but overall probably the best value sushi in Cambridge, if you're hungry! Quality was good too.
