The Maharajah - Cambridge - Photo album

Amazing restaurant, the food and service was 10/10. The starters, mains and dessert were delicious. The chill paneer massam and butter chicken were a perfect main for us. Highly recommend the Honey and Walnut cake for dessert. Thanks to Pervez (owner) and his team for a great evening. đź‘Ť Will 10
One of Cambridge's authentic Indian restaurants. The Maharaja's special Briyani, which includes chicken and lamb topped with a fried egg, was wonderful. I also tried the Paneer masala and garlic naan, each of which had a distinct flavour. The paratha, on the other hand, I would avoid. The crew, part
Food was really tasty, and the staff were kind and helpful. Only one suggestion, maybe to add some real plants to give the place a lively feeling :)
I randomly ended up here on a business trip and couldn't have been happier. Habibi and the other staff made me instantly feel very welcome and I even ended up having a good chat with Habibi after my food. The Chicken Jalfrezi was excellent and while I spent a bit more than I had expected for a dinne
We booked here at short notice to celebrate our parents 60th wedding anniversary - excellent, friendly service and all of the food was wonderful - everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and they even brought out a complimentary cake for our parents as part of the celebration. Highly recommended and our son
Delicious!! We ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Massala and Chicken Rogan. Very generous portions and authentic taste!! Would recommend 100%!
Cannot recommend highly enough - delicious food, lovely atmosphere and staff.. great evening to be had..
Excellent evening, catching up with an old friend and reminiscing. The food and wine was a perfect compliment. Service was spot on, will definitely go back. Be sure to book on busy days as it seems to be a popular restaurant.
Had a wonderful meal here tonight! The family run restaurant has top class service, fantastic food and great value for money. The cheesecake dessert is highly recommended! - Special thanks to Habibi who served us and was brilliant. - Best Indian in Cambridge. đź‘Źđź‘Źđź‘Ź
Best Indian meal I've eaten. Wonderful tastes. Portions are big. Staff are delightful. Great choice of vegetarian dishes. All food cooked to order so they can alter the heat to one's taste. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. We like to visit when we are in Cambridge, the food is excellent and the service and warmth of the welcome is wonderful. A little more expensive than some other Indian restaurants in the area but worth every penny and definitely worth a visit.
We used to come here many years ago as students and were delighted to find it is still running, albeit under new management and with refreshed decor. The food was delicious, service was speedy and attentive but not pushy, and it was a great way to spend an evening. Highly recommended - although watc
The brand new Maharajah has completely reinvented itself as a modern high end Indian restaurant. Fantastic service and marvelous food.
Second time, after trying about 5 other Indian places, this is the best food, great ambience, conducive to good conversation, and the clientele are friendly, and the staff is very attentive. Great location, too. If biking, there are some limited spots so be creative, but locking up nearby is possibl
Excellent. Went back for the first time in years and were very pleasantly surprised. We went as a group and the meal was flawless. Excellent service, great food. Will be back very soon
I’ve been was waiting for this place to reopen for a while. I can say it was worth a wait. The food, the service were fantastic considering the staff as well as the business itself is all new. I went at the first day of opening so they were still figuring things out. The restaurant had a pleasant at
Great meal, excellent service and lovely food. Our waiter Habibi was very attentive and helpful throughout the night. Would recommend to anyone!
I ate at Maharajah a number of times during my stay in Cambridge and can say without a doubt that it is the best curry restaurant in town. They had no problem accommodating our party of 11 despite the fact that one night we ate there they were very busy. Highly recommend the Chicken Jalfrezi and t
Whenever I’m in Cambridge, I come here. It’s been a few years so I was surprised to find it was under new ownership and was far less cheesy looking……but, with the new ownership came a less committed food experience. Good initial taste but lacking in the depth and layers of flavor this place was k ow
