The Plough Great Shelford - Cambridge - Photo album

Classic English pub without any classic English pub food. Just American fast food, burgers, pizzas etc. sorry for the moan but do pubs not do ploughman’s launches any more? Otherwise a decent pint and okay food.
Nice local, always friendly with pool table, sports and a great undercover area with heaters
Great pub nice atmosphere had one of my favourite beers on Timothy Taylor landlord
Nice enough pub. Benefits from a donner kebab wagon parking outside at weekends! Has a pool table
Good little pub to have a drink in and a fabulous garden out the back on a summers evening
A good pub was close to shutting time but still serving drinks, a local style sports bar a fairly young customer base but all were well behaved and very polite
Very nice , friendly staff. It has a good atmosphere and a lovely outdoor area for good weather. I would definitely go again when I'm in Cambridge. We hoped for a pub lunch ,sadly the kitchen is closed on Wednesday.
Thought we would try Pizza at the Plough for dinner tonight, having been tempted over the weeks. Really amazing food! We ordered: A large meat one- prosciutto, pepperoni and salami A medium veg one - butternut squash and sage A garlic and mozzarella pizza bread Two gelato’s for afters, which were
Really good Pub very friendly
Good food, good atmosphere, good staff well looked after well worth the vist
Had our first pizza tonight after getting a leaflet through the door (didn't realise the plough did pizza!) And... WOW. We both had four seasons and it was AMAZING. So delicious, wish I'd ordered extra! The saffron aioli was so yum too. The person who delivered the pizza was so lovely :-) definitely
Very nice Pub. Good feeling any time . Drinking or not is recommended. They have two big screen TV to watch those football matches you would like to follow. Also they have a pool table.
Really great authentic pizzas! Watch pizza being cooked in pizza oven in garden. Mushroom starter, garlic mozzarella bread and chocolate mousse all really tasty. Definitely worth a visit.
Friendly local pub. Liam is very friendly
A medium sized cosey pub to suit a diverse range of drinkers. Pool table to one side well away from others who dont want pool games happening next to them. A choice of craft ales. I would have liked to see a dart board but not really the space available..
Friendly obliging staff and clients. Liam is making a great job of having a village pub. Really nice evening tonight. Thank you.
Great pub Cosy pub with friendly staff and great outdoor space. Very accommodating to the never ending darts match (thank you) will definitely return.
