Colala Chinese Restaurant - Cambridge - Photo album

Nice comforting food in Cambridge!!! Ordered 2 noodles (spicy beef noodles and tomato egg noodles, both used mee sua), radish pork rib soup and egg fried rice. Wouldn’t recommend the egg fried rice haha. Lighting made it feel like we were in an actual Chinese restaurant.
Lovely food, very authentic! I highly recommend the prawns with rice cake; fish in chilli oil. My friends and I all absolutely enjoyed the food, the owner is very nice and charming as well, would definitely go again!
Super delicious and authentic Chinese food! This was the first times we ate there because of the google reviews. We ordered some tofu dishes and they were both excellent in different styles. The dishes were in big portion. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is clean and the seatings are comfortable
We have just had a chicken rice bowl as a takeaway. This was the best curry I've had in a long time. Plenty of chicken and vegetables. As we are only visiting Cambridge I'm sad we didn't find this before. Great food and good prices. Very lovely people too.
Great place to eat!! I was with three others and we were seated quickly and had our drinks order taken on arrival. The restaurant was reasonably busy, but it had a pleasent and inviting atmosphere. Really good choices on the menu which has good explanations of the dishes so even a novice can decid
Very good food choice, very tasty sweet and sour ribs, and sizzlers look amazing. Only putting 4 stars because cooking took long time with dishes arriving in different times for our small group of 4. There was no one else apart from us in the restaurant. (EDIT : This time around serving was near in
Very genuine Chinese dishes. I'm definitely not going to try some of them due to personal preference, however I can still appreciate the idea. Occasionally small issues with balancing the tastes (too much or too little), but all in all - I've visited several times and will definitely come again. Exc
Small place but definitely a little gem - food was delicious and also plentiful. I had king prawn chow mein and, unlike almost every takeaway chow mein I've had, it wasn't swimming in oil, but was beautifully cooked and quite dry (but in a good way!). Husband had King Po chicken, son had sizzling be
I've had some of the best dishes I've ever had in my life here - my all time favourite is the king prawn sichuan dish -, but their food is significantly better when you dine in. As a take away, I would not rate it this high.
A pretty decent Chinese restaurant and takeaway. I’ve had lots of good food from Colala, especially prawn in black bean sauce and prawn in curry sauce. The crispy squid is also enjoyable. Staff serve customers with a smile.
Excellent food. The menu is a bit different from your average Chinese restaurant. You need to dine there about 20 times to explore all of the unusual offerings although most of the favourites are there if you aren't feeling adventurous.
