Food arrived really quick and the pizzas were so fresh, nice and warm!
I really love the fresh ingredients, and their thin bace pizzas are great for a filling meal whilst still feeling light after!
Really good pizza. Heard some great reviews and glad we finally got the chance to try it out. Bit of a longer wait but that was down to them being busy however it was worth the wait. The Dough was light, tomato base was really tasty and the Italian ham and mushroom was just perfect.
Will be sure to go again.
Pizzas usually great, but why is there such confusion at the moment about student discounts and the menus?
I used to get student discount before, now they say either 'we don't do discounts after 5pm' (not specified anywhere) or 'we don't do discounts on combos' (also not specified).
And there is mix up between menus and prices - the new one in the van, but not in use and the old one printed and then the one in the app.
The base tastes very fresh and authentic, and the toppings are of good quality. I cannot fault the food whatsoever. The selection of drinks is pretty limited though, so that would be something to improve ideally.
Very quick service and comfortable seating, so no complaints there. I do have to wonder what the place is like during busy times because there aren’t many tables.

Delicious pizza, Italian dough, awesome varieties. I think that is possible to summarize pizza 1889 as an excellent pizza maker to take away. To tell you the truth, the seats are not comfortable at all. The pizzas are immediately cold since Italian pizzas are thin and quite small. Also, there's no bathroom in the premises.
Very pleasant atmosphere and authentic good-quality pizza!

Excellent customer service! I called them right after I made my order on Deliveroo to request for them to remove all the cheese (make it vegan). They offered to add more toppings for me! Very accommodating! This should be the norm when restaurants receive such requests, especially with pizzas! The pizza crust was nicely charred and thin, they were pretty generous with the toppings. I think it is reasonably prices for the quality, portion and toppings.

Finally a really tasty, thin and crunchy Italian piazza!! Chef super kind like the whole service to be honest. Unfortunately a few Italian piazzas choise in their menu, but ALL of them 100% original (not like chicken or pineapple on top), with also good ingredients. Highly recommended!! A+ ( photo: pizza with Napoli sausages and rocket. No filters).
The members of the staff were very pleasant and courteous. Pizzas were served hot and fresh.

Really nice well cooked pizza, made from scratch including the base. They have a vegan option which tastes absolutely great with vegan cheese added instead of dairy. Loads of fresh veg to choose from. Very quick as the oven is perfect. I will be back.
Really good authentic pizza made in a proper pizza oven. But it was cold outside and the indoor seating was unavailable.
