The English breakfast was great. Initially the chef sent it with my beans and scrambled eggs mixed up and I complained to the waiter and it was rectified immediately. It’s just outside the Cambridge railway station too.

Big portions, fantastic and friendly service. Great cocktails. Rustled me up a sausage bap not on the menu for me for breakfast, staff couldn't do enough. Would definitely come back!

I've popped in here a couple of times now whilst waiting for the train. A fabulous and inviting establishment with a mahoosive choice of beverages, it also offers a food menu. Various seating areas and types to choose from, including outdoor seating with sunscreen provided. Ideal for a quiet drink a meal out or with a group of friends. You can pre-book a table, and they are screening the upcoming Rugby World Cup. I've seen people working away on their laptops here as well as for leisure. They can also accommodate business meetings here. The facilities are very good and clean with accessible options. The staff have always been polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. So I had a try of a few new gins and got a later train!!

The BEST place to sit and relax on your way to/from the station - the antidote to the stress of commuting. I always make time for breakfast at the Tavern before a big day (work or play!) in the city, the food is always perfect - the avocado on toast is my go-to but I sometimes can't resist a full english... The service is unbeatable - the staff are friendly and upbeat and always eager to help in any way they can. The decor is calm, classy and comfortable so it's a great place to unwind at the end of a long day - the cocktail list is brilliant with all of my favourites, and they're always made with care and attention to detail. Love the station tavern!

Nice place to come in for a warm, cosy feel and a long lunch. I wouldn't recommend it if you're just about to catch a train from the nearby station and need a quick meal. Starters were good, and so were mains. Just the patte in my burger was a little bit overcooked; other than that, everything was amazing.

I love this cozy tavern and make room in my schedule every time I come to Cambridge. The staff are always friendly and smiling, there’s something on the menu for everyone and they offer a great selection of beers. Patrons seem to always be enjoying themselves, too. If you’re in Cambridge, definitely stop by. 👍🏽

Came here after a lecture. Nice vibe, friendly staff, great wine list, reasonably priced. Loved reading some sections of the random old books on the shelf! Ordered a portion of chips before my train ride home. Loved watching different groups of people arrive and see the place get into evening mode! Look forward to coming here again!

Was watching the women's semi final footy so booked a table which was great. Loved the decor and space of the pub and service was also great. Not cheap for food but was nice. Only disappointment was the 10 chips for £2.50 which I shall avoid the next time. Worth a visit

You guys are the best people I have ever met in life. When I was stuck in Cambridge, all of you have helped me by letting me use the toilet, giving me a cup of water and charger for me to charge. Although the bar was already closed at that time. That time was my mental breakdown time as I cannot figure my way back to London, not to mention my phone had been dying for a whole day. But you guys calmed me down and provided me ways to stay safe in Parkside Bus Station. Thxxxxx 🥹 I already got back safe. I will definitely come back to have a meal if I can come back to Cambridge.

A decently located pub with a nice decor. I ordered steak sandwich and though I would've preferred softer bread, the steak was expertly cooked.

Went in today to try the Sunday lunch - which is apparently a new concept in which you start off with a little station where you could pick your own nibbles, meats, fishes, soup and breads- which were all great and gave me the choice of what I did or didn't want to pick which was great. There was then a 'sharing roast board' which I haven't seen before but we went for it. I very rarely go out for a roast because I like to think I'm quite the cook myself but hey, it's nice to have someone cook for you once in a while! I can happily say I am SO pleased I did, myself and a friend shared the roast platter which could probably have fed a small army but was well worth it. There were 3 different meats, each one full of flavour and perfectly moist. The potato's were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside which is what you want with a roastie.... honestly for me though I think the veggies (and perhaps yorkie - check out the pics) were the star of the show, so much flavour and wonderful textures - move over boiled veg, you're a thing of the past. I think my parents had given me veg like that as a child I might not have been so adverse to them! We also got a dessert each (creme brulee for me) and again it was just perfect and I am not really a desert person. Great atmosphere, lovely staff - why not?! Highly recommended and will be telling all my friends!
