Lovely food, service and ambience! I highly recommend coming here! Delicious!
Grandaughter's birthday. Spotlessly clean everywhere. All staff were attentive and friendly. Food was superb. There was at least 12 of us, but it was all done with ease.

Great and attentive service, freshly-cooked food and authentic Italian cuisine put Pizza Express on my list of must-try restaurants.
For their unique starters, the texture of their doughballs al forno complemented the chewy cheese well (and I love that there's some crispy parts as well from the bubbling hot plate).
As for mains, the Duo Romana pizza is an excellent deal, the classic combination I got of the Fiorentina and American Jack a terrific balance for first-timers unsure what to try for their first time.
But this particular branch I need to give extra praise. The staff were very welcoming and always checked if I needed anything; kudos to their manager as well for being hands-on and helping out when it gets super busy.
I wish I could have tried using their app (which comes with freebies for first-time users and promos, plus cashless payments) but since my Google Account is set to the Philippines, the app was deemed incompatible for my phone (which is odd since my hardware is hardly outdated, being a Samsung S20 Plus). Not a dealbreaker, but I would have liked to have tried the service.
As for ambience and accommodations, tables are spaced well away from each other and chairs amply comfortable. You can have conversations with friends without worrying about disturbing other diners. Very much has that hole-in-the-wall vibe, which I like immensely.
At the time of my visit I've had the impression that the staff was unusually helpful and attentive (more than in other places).
But I went there not for the service but rather for a pizza. And this choice of place has turned out to be great! Perhaps I was unusually hungry but it surely was one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life! (100% seriously)

They were obviously short staffed, which is totally not their fault and we understand, but nobody mentioned it or said it might take a bit longer than usual. We had to wait to be seated (we had booked) and then ages to actually order our food. We don't mind, just would have been nice to get a heads up! The food was delicious and we were eventually seated in a cosy seat by the window too.
Good located pizza place in city center with range of choices for people with gluten free requirement. Friendly and responsive staff, which makes you stay pleasant. Crystofer is the most positive and caring waiter I've seen here.
We cone here often. Reliably kind staff and food. Every time. They remember us when we come here. Crystofer especially helpful teammate. Even though a chain, feels like a family run business
To the people of Cambridgeshire, lend me your ears I highly recommend the adult pizza party particularly with Youseff at the helm. He guided a large group to pizza making success with the poise and expertise of a young Gino D'acampo.
We have a 1 year old and 3 year old and this is by far the best restaurant for us to go to. The kids love the picolo menu
The staff are always very accommodating and understing and most importantly the menu is excellent as we're vegan
We had a kids pizza making party with 15 kids between 8 and 10. Youssef was fantastic at getting them all to pay attention and make delicious pizzas. He and his team really went out of their way to make the morning really special. Thank you!
Great service. Managed to fit our large booking last minute on a busy Saturday. Very attentive service and great food. Burnt ends pizza was great! Will be back soon!

Food is always good at Pizza Express, and this was no exception. It was quiet, though, but I was getting the food version of last orders. Waiters and waitresses were lovely and very accommodating as it was approaching closing time.
Yousef was an amazing chef who shows me and my friends how to make pizza on a Stag Party. He was energetic, helpful and had a great sense of humour! The experience was lovely!
Crys was great. Got me a table straightaway. My pizza was spot on and arrived within minutes. He made a great sunshine sundae. His service was excellent.
