I am writing this review as we have just finished what can only be described as the best Cod & Chips I have had for over 20 years!!
The quality and quantity far outweighed our expectations.
The 2 young ladies who served us were so polite and went the extra mile. We will be back
Awesome service and quality at very affordable prices. You must try the haddock and the fish cakes. The only pity is that there's no place to seat during the waiting.

I love, love, love the Beach Fryer! I live in Seattle in America and visit Mum in Waterbeach frequently. Our tradition is to have fish and chips my first and last night here. Top quality fish and chips. I’ve lived in this village all my life and this place has been on the different ownership over the years but the current owners are absolutely smashing it and have been doing for some years now. Proper old school fish and chips the way they should be! Lovely staff too.
Best fish and chips in the area certainly did not disappoint. Staff are fantastic and extremely helpful catering for everyone. Could not fault a thing portion sizes generous, quality fantastic and price extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!

Went to Cambridge for our holidays, and was recommended here by the locals as the best fish and chips in the town, and they were not lying. Delicious fish, good size portions and the staff were so friendly. So good we went a few times on our stay, 100% would recommend.
