Great spot for fish and chips. The food for really great.
The could slightly improve with their management as their was a line when I reached the place and I had called them and ordered ahead but had to wait just the same time as ordering at the spot so ordering ahead gave me no advantage.
Best of both worlds very nice chips and fresh cod👌
Brilliant take out, Chinese food and fish and chips, always good quality.
Their fried rice is to die for!!! My personal favourites are the special fried rice and duck fried rice. It tastes authentic and tastes the same every time.
So today , my work had fish and chips day. We ordered 39 portions. It was superb, on time , hot, good food and quantity. Would highly recommend
I used to live in Histon and order both Chinese and chips regularly. It's been a few years and I went and I bought some portions of chips and peas recently. They were excellent and as good as I remember. Definitely worth a visit.
There was a bit of a queue but it was definitely worth the wait. Chips were fluffy, fish had nice crispy batter, and the Chinese bits we ordered were some of the best I've ever had! Would definitely recommend.
Very good fish and chips! Fish was pretty good, could see some of the skin and the batter was golden and crispy, overall nice fish. Where it really shone was the chips! Everyone has their own opinion of how chips should be done, and personally I like mine crispy. There was a nice crispiness to these

Delicious chips. But, frankly, food in batter (fish, chicken, sausages etc.) isn't to my taste. The experience during busy times is what you'd expect: not easy to park nearby and then you can queue for 10 minutes, maybe more. But the chips are worth it :)
This is a lovely, friendly and very tasty popular fish and chip shop and the chinese is devine too. Been a couple of times for both and there is always a queue in here. Parking is outside on the street if like us you need it, its reasonably priced, and well worth the wait not overly greasy like many
Always friendly, good service. We had one bad experience when the chips weren't nice at all, otherwise, the food is always lovely here. Parking is a problem, especially if you go at a busy time.
Hadn’t been here since the beginning of Covid lockdown but what a pleasant surprise to be served really quickly and have the food ready just as quick.
Portions are always good - in fact we never manage to quite finish the portions - and tasty!
