We love this pub totally...it’s been one of my fellas haunts for years. However...went for a Sunday roast, firstly they didn’t do vegggie gravy for veggie roast, it’s not hard to have bisto red on the shelf! However chef was kind and said he would do something. Looked ok, vegetables (only kale and courgette) came out cold, I had no Yorkie and around an egg cupful of watery veg stock as gravy. The veg wellington was divine but the meal was so dry that my friends dog finished it off. Sorry...I don’t like moaning but it wasn’t very good...we even had to almost run after the waitress after she had put the plates down just to request sauces and salt and pepper! I adore this quaint little back syreet gem of a pub, they keep good barrels, lovely fire, just the food and service somewhat eek 😳!!

I normally visit the Kingston Arms once a fortnight, sometimes once a week. For me, it has an excellent range of very well kept ales - some of which change around and others stay as customer favourites. I'm a brewer so I'm quite critical! Of all the pubs in Cambridge, I eat hear the most - all the food is excellent & I've never had a bad meal yet. The burgers are simply amazing and the hand cut chips served with them are irresistible. And if the food and drink aren't enough, the atmosphere is great. It's a very cosmopolitan pub with people of all nationalities there all getting along just fine with the locals. So in a nutshell, if you want a great pub with atmosphere, good food and drink - you'd be hard pushed to find anywhere better! Well done guys & gals! Oh & one last thing - the Xmas lunch last year was the best I've ever had in a pub - but the quality of the food and the price - amazing & I'm back again this year!

My nephew introduced me to this delightful and friendly pub with a great atmosphere. Had a couple of very flavoursome pints of stout with a vegi burger. Off the beaten track and would highly recommend.

Great to have The Kingston Arms as a real pub again. Superb choice of ales and lager (not your run of the mill rubbish either) They don't do food but not a problem as you can order from the excellent Scott's all day delivered to the pub for no extra cost. Lovely little sun trap courtyard out the back.

Really lovely pub, staff are lovely and the beer is too. Nice little beer garden, partially covered, so you can avoid the elements but still sit outside. Great selection of beers and at a reasonable price, on the cheaper side for Cambridge, highly recommend.

Stumbled into this lovely pub after a few beers, really friendly environment, fantastic selection of real ales (& larger) Ordered one if their Pork Pies and a scotch egg to share between the group, it was delicious... We will be back and we will order them again!

My dad had this pub when I was about 8, nearly 30 years ago, then the greyhound (since demolished) he passed away a few years ago, came to Cambridge to visit my brother and wanted to pop in to see the place, it's changed so much as you would expect 🤣 but Its absolutely beautiful! The staff were so friendly, food was on point, it was lovely to see how much its improved over the years, I don't remember it having such a beautiful outdoor space, everyone was so friendly, brilliant atmosphere! Excellent service, and was so nice to tell my brother the memories of my dad in there! Highly recommended! Keep kingston arms going for another 30 years! Will be bringing my children back for food and more memories next time. Thank you for making it such a special experience without knowing my connection to the place!

Came here whilst on a pub crawl on Saturday evening and loved it. Great range of real ales and lagers on and a landlord that has you in stitches and makes the effort to talk to all of his punters. Would highly recommend visiting when in Cambridge. Loved it!

Great choice of beers on tap - several IPAs, pales etc from good breweries. There was also a beer fest going on with additional cask beers. Didn't have any food but that can be ordered by app from a 3rd party.

Visited in June 2023. Having visited after its reopening under new management, it's great to see it as a proper pub again. The manager served me and he was incredibly friendly and efficient and happy to have a discussion about the beer. The garden is a nice, cosy area which on a nice summers' day is perfect for sitting in and enjoying a few pints while munching on crisps. I had the XXXB Bitter and it was clearly well kept. It was quiet while I was in there both times, but this is purely down to the times I was there (and this is ideal for me anyway). I personally enjoyed my visits here and will be looking to make this a regular. Located just off Mill Road and only a ten-or-so minute walk from the Beehive Centre, I'm sure I'll find plenty of excuses to work up a thirst for a visit here.

An excellent wet pub but with a great facility to order and have food delivered to the pub for free. We did this and had pizza, which was very good. Large range of very good beer, lager, wine and spirits. Highly recommended.

ever since the grand reopening of the great Kingston arms, I have been excited to experience delight. it has not disappointed. since my first time coming here, having only previously experienced that weird bar that was here, me & my good friend (with special guest cameos) have frequented weekly and we love it. this is where we come now. the cambridge pub scene is fun, but it needs more places that we can go to, and this is one of them. long live the kingston arms. this is where we go now.

Great to see it back as a proper pub again. Enticing beer range and genial host. I can't comment on food as I don't go to pubs to eat.

Nice place only a short walk from Cambridge station and a nice beer garden outside. Plenty of beers on tap with small brewery options also available on tap and bottled.

The place is nice and peaceful, so you can have a conversation at normal volume when is full. The food is pretty nice and in big quantities, so you can see enjoy a bear and hummus for 2 and have a nice dinner. We also discovered a nice new way of eating the hummus 🤩. I will repeat and I absolutely recommend it.

The new landlords are trying to return the place back to a proper pub. There are definite signs of improvement, better atmosphere and a decent selection of beers which change regularly. In my opinion decor is a bit too light and the hard surfaces cause any sounds to bounce around and make the place a bit noisy. Overall, things are getting better and I am optimistic that will continue. Worth a look if you are in the area.

It’s back! Feels a little more open and airier than the previous pub iteration thanks to the short-lived wine-bar, but that works well. Lots of good ciders and beers, and great atmosphere. Need to find another pub-cat and some retro games consoles though!

Came here for the first time because of a recommendation, even though we've lived nearby for years. The service was absolutely first class, and we truly felt transported away from Cambridge to the sunnier climbs of the streets of Spain. Leti was so friendly and clearly passionate about what she is doing, I hope she can have the inside open in May as the interior is looking refreshed and very stylish. The alfresco dining out the back of the pub has a great atmosphere and you feel part of the action as you watch the chefs at work. The food is brilliant, the first time we've had oysters in a pub in Cambridge and we have already booked to come back at the weekend for dinner. Can't wait!
