A truly fantastic place, with health-conscious and well-sourced products. Highly recommend.
Wonderful hidden secret tucked away out of sight for those in the know! We've popped in a few times for coffees and lunch, always beautifully prepared food with a Scandinavian twist - can't wait to go back today for a late lunch with my boys!
Went there for lunch recently. I haven't had such an interesting meal out for a long time; a different variety of taste with every mouthful. Wonderful. Only one criticism but a common one - could do with some noise cushioning as with so many restaurants now - too many hard surfaces for noise to bounce off. Still loved the place
Excellent Asian Street Food menu last night cooked by Lillian Hiw. Could not fault the three courses (plus the lovely lychee & prosecco cocktail!) in any way. As someone not particularly keen on Thai food the chicken Tom Yum curry was out of this world- spicy, tangy & not sweet- please send me the recipe! To finish we had salted coconut rice with mango- again out of this world! The restaurant was small & cosy with just the right amount of people & the service friendly & attentive. Well done all- we will be back.
i organised a hen do at Cambridge cookery School and it was amazing! They were so professional, helpful and made the day very memorable even though they plied us with lots of booze Would highly recommend!!

My new favourite place for breakfast/brunch
Lovely atmosphere, nice that it is slightly tucked away, loved the decor and great, personal service, small details go a long way... definitely want to return here soon... especially as they have outdoor seating so will be lovely when it's warmer and the food looked delicious but didn't get to sample this time sadly!
Great place, thank you Alan for your fantastic coffee and exceptional customer service. We Will be back!

Excellent cookery school party in the Sunday Sunshine - lots of good summer food and great fun chocolate making with Boutique Mama Bonbon - gGloria Dominguez Martinez and her team.
Came here for the cooking course (Beginners' bread). Wonderful weekend experience! We made five different bread, hands-on and had a lot of fun. The instructor was very nice and helpful. Will come back to try the food!
Lovely airy cafe! Fabulous quiche today and friendly service - so fab that I ordered 2 pieces to go, plus 2 pieces of French toast. This came to £28!!!! I questioned this and continue to do so. Maybe rethink takeaway prices?
Cute and quiet cafe with good breakfast and cake options. Coffee was nice and staff was friendly as well.
I had a lovely breakfast here - poached eggs on brioche with bacon, and it was delicious. very nice interior but an even better outside seating area, and the staff are delightful. would absolutely recommend.
Phenomenally flavorful, creative dishes prepared and served by a warm, welcoming staff. A diversity of pastries, cakes, salads, and savory bites trickle out of the kitchen starting at 9am -- from berry rolls and orange carrot cake to omelette triangles and ham and cheese scones. The longer you stay, the more there is to try! Rotating Scandinavian- and Middle East-inspired bistro meals are listed on the blackboard daily, with options such as a Swedish breakfast fry-up, Turkish eggs, and sourdough breakfast sandwiches.
Standouts include the subtle, pillowy cinnamon roll, melt-in-your-mouth brownie, and buttery croissant dough tart filled with zesty lemon curd.
The space itself is beautiful, managing to be both warm and airy at the same time; it's clear how much attention to detail is paid, here, as candles and fresh cut flowers pepper the cafe, and artfully-plated dishes with pops of white powdered sugar or deep red balsamic sit behind the counter for you to feast your eyes upon.
Most importantly: the lovely staff make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Teresa, in particular, is exceptionally warm and caring, remembering customers' regular orders, asking after friends, and going out of her way to make your stay as memorable as possible.
Truly a must-visit!

Anyone interested in specific foods:
Absolutely stupendous cinnamon roll. Not drenched in any sort of syrup or icing, but rather the pillowy dough is moistened with a buttery cinnamon swirl throughout. Pearl sugar topping provides a lovely crunch and burst of sweetness to an otherwise mellow cinnamon flavor.
The pancakes come in a small, silver dollar sized stack of three. While the dough was quite dense, this allowed it to stand up well against the bold, sour acidity of a generous berry compote. Lightly vanilla'd ricotta mousse provided a luscious creaminess to balance the dish. Overall, I felt the pancakes lacked a more robust sweetness to counter the delicious, boldly sour compote -- perhaps some molasses-y brown sugar worked into the dough itself. Though I prefer my pancakes a bit lighter than the lovely dense rounds offered at the cafe, I still enjoyed them.
And the fudge brownie! My heart be still. It was ultra moist and fudge-y -- melting in my mouth with the texture of a properly rich fudge, but with a crumbly, cracking top crust that perfectly offsets the melt in your mouth base.
The croissant-base tart with lemon curd showcased the imagination and perfect pastry execution of the Cafe's chef. The crust maintained its buttery, chewy nature, cut perfectly by the sweet-sour of the creamy curd. A sprinkling of fresh blueberries on top provided a textural pop while adding a layer of sweetness.
The coffee was of high quality and my flat white was quite well executed. I'd certainly stop by whenever I'm in the mood for a nice coffee!
Excellent coffeeshop, coffee is great good pastry and very nice lunch menu. If you are from Scandinavia go here if you feel like a little taste of home.
Amazing food! Brunch here is a must- the Turkish eggs are my favourite. The fresh bakes never disappoint too. The cafe is small but you can usually get a table. The staff are lovely and friendly and are willing to accommodate to any need! There is seating outside in the summer. Overall, a great small cafe with a chilled vibe! Haven't been to one of the cooking classes yet but I would love to.
I had been eyeing the Cambridge Cookery School cafe for a while now and finally made it there for breakfast last weekend and I was not disappointed! I had the fruit bread with ricotta and poached fruit and it was so satisfying! The staff were friendly and attentive and you weren't rushed to leave. Very family and animal friendly. I guess the only thing is that although they do accommodate people working there on their laptops (they have power sockets), it can get rather noisy especially on a Saturday late morning when the families come out to brunch. So do bear that in mind if you're looking for somewhere quiet to work. I'm definitely coming back and am so pleased to find an independent cafe to hang out in!
Had heard about this little gem, didn't disappoint. One of the top 5 for brunch, or just a coffee and croissant. Can't wait to return for Friday Tapas, or Saturday Bistro. Menu looks delicious. Love the decor. Well
thought out.
Went to the Croissant class, great teaching and plenty of pastries! Relaxed atmosphere with plenty of coffee and lunch was tasty!
