The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it, we enjoyed perfect service from staffs and they were extremely friendly and helpful. Delicious meals!
Lovely food and really friendly staff. There were lots of vegetarian options that were different to lots of other places which was refreshing. Will be back to try something else!!
We have already been there three times! Went along the first time to try the lunchtime buffet. It was wonderful. While there we saw people near us eating the Masala Dosa! looked amazing so we went back to try it, delicious! As was the fish curry! Fabulously friendly and helpful staff too. Already planning to go for lunch tomorrow. Our new favourite restaurant! Go, try it for yourself. You will be hooked!

Since the restaurant was open, I have been coming to the Indian Palace. On each occasion, I was pleasantly surprised with the freshly, homemade quality of genuine south Indian cuisine. I always start with poppadoms and dips (most of them are home made, and utterly tasty), than I go for kerala paratha (as a starter, I discovered this type of bread for the first time in this restaurant), as a main, molly made with the prawns (the best every, mild, made with coconut milk) combined with the pashwari naan and plain rice, presents the perfect meal!
Sometimes, I drop by for a lunch, there is a buffet just for 8.99 on workdays. There are always (among other dishes) lamb and chicken curry, the lamb curry is spice but perfect taste!
The other day, the restaurant wasn't that busy during the lunch time, and the waiter (all members of staff are always really pleasant and welcoming), Siv introduced me to the chef, really humble, still amazing talent!
The prices are more than reasonable, hence if you want Indian food check out this place!

spot. Loved the masala dosa and paneer ul theyili, the naans were really good and closest to indian naan. Matka kulfi was perfect, not too sweet and loved pistachio flavour. We were table of 6. Service was quick and attentive. Thank you.

One of the best curries I have ever had. We had a Saturday night takeout and ordered a Naadan Chicken Curry, Kerala Lamb curry and Thadka Dal. All three dishes were really well spiced with great depth and consistency. The chicken and lamb were very tender and delicious. Overall, an outstanding takeaway tonight and we will be back.

It was Onam special food today and was surprised at how authentic the menu and service was! Fantastic. The buffet lunch menu on other days is EXACTLY THE SAME! will help if they change it at least alternate days and will help to keep the Berayani veg or egg so that even vegetarian can enjoy the same, anyways the non veg have 2 to 3 dishes in excess
Today we had dinner here for my birthday. We ordered veg biriyani taste was excellent. I also liked the curry sauce with the biriyani. Food was excellent and service was very good. Nice treat for my birthday
Very authentic taste and overall a nice vibe, definitely coming back for more! I love chicken biryani and have tried it from ~10 different places in Cambridge, The Indian palace is so far my favorite :) This particular instance, I had the Masala dosa which also exceeded my expectations.
We had a very lovely meal. The staff were very polite and attentive without being overbearing. Kingfisher and Cobra on draft, as standard. Happy to serve tapwater instead of the bottled water.
The food was very good. Their breads were very delicious. The shishlak and tikka masala had large pieces of succulent chicken and tasty sauce.
I'd recommend this place as amongst the top 5 Indian restaurants I've visited in Cambridge.

If you are looking for vegetarian Indian food then you must visit here.. we ordered kadhai paneer , garlic naan and vegetable biryani and they were delicious. The staff is also kind and polite.
Our main meal was fabulous. We ordered a bottle of white wine which they just put on the table, warm and unopened for us to help ourselves 🤣 but the food outweighed this. Well worth a visit.
Foods were amazing and the staffs were friendly too! Need to wait almost half an hour food foods but definitely worth it and very cheap too. The chicken was slightly disappointing because it was too hot but all the curry and bread were great
Buffet not available now, but you can try ala carte. The starters were not good but the main course(Biriyani, Garlic Naan, Chicken gravy) was good.
This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Cambridge. Delicious, good value and authentic food, with friendly service. The menu includes both South Indian dishes (proprietors are from Kerala so this is recommend!), but also some great North Indian and tandoori cuisine. Highly recommended!
