The Regal - Cambridge - Photo album

Another lovely Wetherspoons.. (and surprisingly the only one in Cambridge City) It stills has the Cinema feel, and plenty of information within detailing historical facts. There is a big screen (previously watched the Grand National) which is fab. Be warned.. it can get very busy and extremely lou
Very fantastic Place, big and with a good Number of different beer. IPA Lager and so on. The food Is quite good with kind of meal from different country, fish and cheeps ocviusly are here.
Great place with good food, the staff were very friendly, the food came quite fast and hot and the portions were quite larg, and it was way cheaper than most of restaurants, and you had a lot of options to choose from the menu. Definitely worth eating here
The Regal is a very large and fairly comfortable JD Wetherspoon pub in the city centre of Cambridge. It covers two spacious levels. Food is streamlined JDW grub, but well presented and cheap, as are the beers. Prices have increased here, too, but it's still the cheapest food & drinks option in town.
Wonderful lunch on 11sep23. while we visit Cambridge 1day from London . Wetherspoon alway deliver good meals while we visit in different cities in U.K. We love the beer or alcohol or tea or coffee included in the meal. Thanks.
Nice Wetherspoons. This is the sort of place Wetherspoons convert so well - a 1930's ex cinema, converted with much respect to the buildings existing features in an art deco style. Several levels and on a wednesday morning an oasis of calm in the city centre. Good choice of guest ales on my visi
This has to be the biggest wetherspoons in the UK, using a lower floor, ground floor (where the bar is) & a mezzanine level. A great selection of real ales, cider & larger.
Went into The Regal as we haven't visited before. We chose a table upstairs as it was busy downstairs and were relieved when we found you could order food at the bar upstairs .Ordered Scampi and Chicken Tikka curry with drinks .The staff were really pleasant and helpful and the meal was very tasty .
nice environment. food ok. all you can drink. good place to meet friends.
A cogent reminder that there is a hot meal to be had, a refillable drink, a place in the centre of town to sit for a few hours, for under £10. Good service, loads seating and plenty of choice. It’s not the Ritz-Carlton, but it’s dependable, good value and friendly.
Had my "usual" there. Absolutely fine; just not quite "hot". Wasn't cold; could just have been hotter is all. Beig a big place, this wasn't too much of a surprise but you would have thought they'd've figured it out by now. The place is HUGE. It's former cinema complex.
Visited on a very busy Sunday night, our food arrived very quickly. Fish n Chips (large portion) was fresh & hot. The Chicken Curry came with all the extras & a good sized portion. Drinks limited on the night, so no cider at all via the pumps! Offered bottles as an alternative at no extra cost to ou
We called in to the Regal when we were visiting Cambridge. I was very impressed with the service and how good the staff were. I have been to Wetherspoons before and the tables never seemed to be cleaned and there are dirty plates and empty glasses on them. But at the Regal the staff seem so happ
Really great toilets with a good vibe going on. Would have got 5 stars if there had been moisturiser available, however the soap did smell amazing! Definitely worth a visit!
Great way to start your day when visiting Cambridge, art deco theme continues throughout the restored former cinema…. Food was well presented and staff clearly working hard to leep standards high in this spoons!
