Food was absolutely delicious, myself and my boyfriend ordered the vegetarian banquet for two. Started with samosa, onion bhaji (best I've had), vegetable pancake and a chilli pepper stuffed with indian cheese! For mains we were given a portion of rice and naan, with 3 different curries ranging from a mild, creamy dish to a spicy jalfrezi-type curry. The vegetables were beautifully cooked and the spice level was perfect. It also came with a side dish of potato and Indian cheese in a lovely sauce. Price-wise it was very reasonable, the banquet plus two drinks each came to around 60 pounds total! I also must commend the high level of service, the waiting staff were very attentive and really made us feel special. P.s. We got full and couldn't quite finish the curries so we took some home and as leftovers the next day they're still as delicious! 5*!!!
Highly recommend this place, the flavours, presentation, aroma, atmosphere is very good, and they can cook a special dish for you if is not in the menu ... I had a "Korma King Prawn" didn't was on the menu and was superb! plus have an award of the "Best Curry of England 2017"
Had the pleasure of being taken here by my husband on Saturday evening, all the staff were very welcoming and the restaurant is very upmarket and modern. The menu had a large range of choice, from traditional curries to a great seafood selection. Our food arrived quite quick and was fantastic, very tasty and extremely fresh and the portion sizes were spot on. Was great to meet the beautiful Rosie, her brother and her husband, who are the brains behind this gem in out city. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant for themselves.

Amazing food, amazing people. Loved the food especially the king prawn and chicken starter. Definitely a place i would recommend. Great service
Great food. The best Indian restaurant I have eaten in, in Cambridge. Excellent staff. All round Great place to go for dinner. I will dine here again.
I won't forget the day that I had dinner at prana indian restaurant, the food was delicious ,high quality, amazing . I would like to recommend to any one who want to enjoy the nice food or to have wonderful dinner let go to prana, I'm sure you will enjoy the food. Also you will meet with welcoming staff.
Really enjoyed our meal here. The food was really delicious and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Everything on the menu looked so appealing that we ended up ordering a bit too much. However, the lovely staff transferred it into containers to take away with us; which meant we could enjoy it all again the next morning!
The staff are very friendly & we felt very well looked after. The food was absolutely brilliant! You can can tell that only the best ingredients & products go into these amazing dishes with flavours that you simply won't get in other curry houses. Highly recommend & I definitely will be returning in the near future.
First time visit . Lovely food, very tasty . More expensive than our normal restaurant, but was nice to try somewhere different. Would recommend for special occasions as quite pricey.
Our first visit, even though we actually only live a few short steps away. We were very impressed by the service, the ambience, and the quality and choice of the food. We will definitely be adding it to our list of very good local eateries.
Went Saturday and the food was lovely will defo be coming back at some point
My husband and I went last night , complimentary meal , courtesy of Star Radio , for a rhyming with Sarah game , lovely food , great staff , and on our bus route!!! Will definitely return! Well done Prana X.
Prana’s new menu has been streamlined, thereby putting less pressure on the kitchen, generating less food waste and simplifying the previously overwhelming choice. Most of the favourites are still on the menu and these dishes continue to be several notches above the bog standard curry houses. The new menu features five additional dishes, some exclusive to Prana, which have replaced a few of the traditional ones that made the old menu so extensive. Curiosity got the better of us so we ordered all three of the new starters. They were packed with clean, vibrant flavours as Prana continue to use their own spice blends rather than curry powder.
Really excellent Indian meal. The onion bhaji were massive and really delicious. We had slow cooked lamb and a chicken dish. Both very good. Our kids are picky eaters but cleared their plates. I would really recommend Prana!
Great food, not busy, excellent service. Interior a bit worn. Music wasn't too loud.
Nice Indian restaurant that delivers what you expect, and caters well to a large group. A varied menu with some really great food, including plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians.
Some stuff is a bit rough around the edges: the dips that came with poppadoms weren't great, and a couple of the curries that our table had were a bit disappointing, but it was a great experience overall and I would come back.
My husband and I had an incredible dining experience at Prana. The food was fresh and delicious. It's a must-visit spot in Cambridge, and one of our best Indian dining experience
Good ambience, good food. Enjoyed the experience
The food become so exact we had been making plans our next visit all through our starters! reserving is probably counseled, despite the fact that the cellphone line was busy so we chanced it (just controlled to get a desk). you'll be sorted by using the body of workers here, satisfied to reply questions and assist you pick the right dish.
Very fairly priced and nicely worth the visit.
For a table of 10, we had very good service. Food came out promptly. Food itself was excellent quality and flavourful. They could've asked us if we wanted another round of drinks. But that's basically my only gripe.
Great food and good service but extremely expensive for what it was.
The food was great, nice flavours but nothing spectacular above the average Indian takeaway. The price however is wildly above the average, not sure it’s worth the difference.
Prana Indian Restaurant offers a delightful culinary journey through the diverse flavors of India. With its inviting ambiance, attentive service, and delicious food, it's an excellent choice for those looking to savor authentic Indian cuisine. While it may be a bit pricey, the experience is sure to leave a lasting impression on your taste buds. I look forward to returning to Prana to explore more of their tempting menu offerings.
Standout Dishes:
Murgh Tikka Masala: Tender chicken pieces smothered in a luscious tomato-based sauce with just the right balance of spices.
lamb Jalfrezi: A flavourful tender lamb cooked in hot spices
Lamb Biryani: Fragrant rice cooked with succulent pieces of lamb and a medley of spices.
It's difficult to choose between the options on this street, but Prana Indian Restaurant is a great choice. Staff friendly and attentive. My last visit I had the Sikandari lamb cooked in spices - and was delighted with the new, fragrant flavors. An hour well spent, with good food, watching the life on Brick Lane.
Prana is our favourite Indian in Cambridge, both for dine in and also for take away. We ordered yesterday via their own website and when we went to collect 30 minutes later it was ready and piping hot. The flavours are always delicious and authentic, happy to recommend.
Had a lovely little meal at Prana Indian Restaurant. Wasn't in the mood for something big so got the Sikandari lamb and it was the perfect portion size. Was super tasty too! For dessert got Will definitely be back.
Fantastic. We went for a spicy curry and they delivered. The Chefs special lamb was falling off the bone. The Peshawari naan was very nice complement to the lamb!
