This place is unbelievable for food and beer. This has to be a must visit place. All the food is great. I've almost tried the whole menu and I am never disappointed. The cider is lovely. But they have a great range of beers which I hear great things about.
I have visited the Queen's Head infrequently over the past 40 years, and it hasn't changed one bit. Still a great traditional English pub with exceptional Adnams beer kept the proper way. And here's hoping it stays that way!
What a lovely little village pub. Very welcoming and has seating outside with a shelter and heat lamps,there is also a garden at the back too. The beer is very good and several choices including some in the barrel. There is a different food can on a Wednesday and Sunday.
Very nice pub, but the sandwiches, while pleasant enough, were very small, basic and not at all good value.

There's a whole new pub culture nowadays, and The Queen's Head, the most traditional pub you could possibly imagine, has embraced the new rigours required without diluting any of its charm. You should go, and support the place, you won't be disappointed.

Not just a pub, it's a time capsule from another gentler era. Wonderful, I wish I lived nearer.
A delightful traditional pub. Split into two bars, we sat in the public side where an open fire was keeping us warm. Beer is served straight from the cask, with three Adnams (bitter, ghost ship, broadside) and a Milton guest on. Food was basic but hit the spot, on our Sunday visit they had meat/brea
This is one of the best pubs. Real ale direct from the barrel. I always have roast beef and horseradish sandwich. A super stopping off place on a cycle ride.
This pub serves really great simple food, from high quality ingredients. Sandwiches and soup are on offer with platters on Sundays. I had the smoked salmon sandwich with horseradish with a glass of good french sauvignion. The interior is very traditional and dogs are allowed.
A great old fashioned pub with real ale and good food. Where else can you get toast and beef dripping? Check out the soup and sandwiches.
No food this visit, but always welcoming and a good pint. 👍
This is just the best 'old pub' in the area. Ale is served from the tapped cask behind the bar. Open fire and candles in the 'lounge' and an oddity of furniture in the public bar. Did is wonderful even if limited in choice. Brown Soup is worth the wait and the Ham or Beef sandwiches are great. Love
A fantastic, unreconstructed, beer-focussed village pub with a limited but solid food offer and lovely staff. If I was rating it for adults only, it would be an easy five stars. Probably not the place for families with young kids - especially fussy eaters.
