The Pickerel Inn - Cambridge - Photo album

Lovely traditional pub with a good selection of beers and friendly staff. I was particularly impressed with how knowledgeable all the bartenders were about the beers on offer. We didnโ€™t eat there but what we saw looked really nice.
Great spot. We are from the states hanging out for a day in Cambridge and were told to come here. Strongly recommend. The meat pie was excellent, good beer selection, good and friendly service. Easy to walk to after punting!
Found this lovely Greene King pub just over the river where there were many silly Punts. Says it is the oldest pub in Cambridge and Magdalene bought it back in Queen Vic days.Good real ale selection including a house beer brewed by GK for this pub. Pickerel bitter at 3.8%. Good sized beer garden.
Visited here with a few of my colleagues on Thursday evening and ordered 4 of their Chicken Kyivs! Absolutely delicious food, friendly staff and great service from the manager Karl as always. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Cambridge
This is where C.S. Lewis and Tolkien used to get together and discuss literary wonders. That makes it pretty special. It is centrally located and has great amber ale according to my friend.
This is an fantastic pub! The folks working there are friendly and nice and in general. We had a large portion of fish and chips and a local beer. The pub has a great college vibe and it is an absolute classic for the Magdalene alumni. Must go if youโ€™re in the area!
Cheap, chill, and cozy. They check the box for the three C's. (I definitely just made that up). Great place with good history. They also have some beer options that I haven't seen at other pubs. Including their own Pickerel 1608. Its a good hand pulled beer.
Such a brilliant night with good friends Lovely friendly pub Definitely going again ๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿ’ƒ
Had a great night in this pub last Friday night. The outside seating was great for us vapers and the heaters were a added bonus. Large selection of drinks, which we had many don't remember getting back to our B&B ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ really good atmosphere and the bar staff were great. Definitely worth a visit if you
Found this pub whilst visiting Cambridge for the first time. Really nice atmosphere with a great selection of ales. Top service too. The staff were very polite and helpful and offered me some tasters to try. Love the architecture of the place too. Wasn't surprised to read it was built in the 16th ce
The oldest pub in Cambridge. Had to stop at the cozy infamous spot for a pint and some history lessons
Oh my goodness Max's potatoes were amazing. Deffo reccomend coming her for house seasoned fries and a voddy coke
Nice place, good service and food. I take away one star cause they didn't have gluten free food for one of us, but they were kind enough to offer to order food from anywhere else. Anyway, the pie was good.
Lovely bar nice location and atmosphere with good friendly staff..
Great pub. One of the oldest pubs in Cambridge. Good food and good ale. Has live music as well
Traditional pub feel, good selection of ales. Recommended.
All round brilliant. Traditional pub with tradition values. Great beer, lovely food and very friendly bar staff. The landlord and landlady came to speak to us too. Dog friendly, provided a water bowl and sausages too. If you're visiting Cambridge this little gem in the heart of the city is a mu
Great pub. Lovely friendly staff. Mix of regulars and students most evening. Ever changing selection of real ales, all kept very well. Food is Greene King menu, but cooked well and very nice. Really recommend the Sausages and mash with Red Wine gravy.
