Like the casual nature to the place, the food and service is definitely not casual. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, which included the confit duck and pan fried sea trout. The dark porter beers were popular too, but I really liked the Cotes du Rhone.

Quirky place with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Bar staff where great offering recommendations and alternative suggestions to the cocktail menu. Will definitely be coming back soon!

The menu is a little different which appeals to us for a lunch time light bite. I absolutely love the sweet potato pancakes! Service is good and staff friendly. They also don't keep hovering to ask you if everything is ok every few minutes. That annoys me about some pubs. Price wise th meals are a little above the average but I think they're worth it. Love the decor and they have a good range of beers.

Cafe Mocha was delightful! Also the restaurant is super packed so it’s best to do a reservation, I just got lucky as I was alone and grabbing a coffee

Tasty brunch menu, but would love to see more savoury vegan items on there. Cute atmosphere and friendly staff, perfect for a weekend brunch and great for visitors to Cambridge as it's decor is very "local"!

Great service, great cocktails, and delicious food. This was the best dining experience we had in 4 days in Cambridge, and an instant favourite when we return. Their Tandem sharing board was generous and could be shared by 3-4 as a starter. The hummus was unique and delicious, and the plant based cheese was unreal. Normally hate aubergine, but theirs was so good I kept going back for more. We also had delicious mains: a seasonal special of butternut squash ravioli, and a regular menu item of lentil curry that my husband loved. Topped it all off with a very tasty Sticky Toffee Pudding. Their coffee was even top tier. Honestly can’t recommend enough.

We we’re a large group of 17 on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. All in all, we received great service and most of us were very happy with the food. I will come back for the pancakes! + The service (mainly Joe) was great + We didn’t have to wait long for our food + The pancakes were amazing (could use a bit more fruit topping for the size of them) + Kids menu was great - The coffee wasn’t great - The gluten free egg on toast was very dry and could’ve used a little effort

A nice restaurant for brunch in Cambridge. Good atmosphere and decor. Food was good, an interesting mix of dishes. As someone with a food allergy, I had heard good things about this space, and was initially reassured when the staff showed good understanding of allergens. However, I was slightly concerned that the waitress brought me mine before announcing "I think this is the gluten free one!". It then turned out that the meal I had been brought had not been made for me (luckily I hadn't eaten any!) and the correct plate was brought to me. Once I had my meal, the food was tasty. If you have an allergy, I would just be sure to double check your order before tucking in.

Food was amazing and service was amazing!! Even though they were extremely busy our Waiter was super attentive and even took the time to check in with us on how our food was. Also, he was super funny and just made the experience all around amazing. Also, even though they were so busy the food came out relatively quick and was perfect temp, seasoned, and presentation.

We came in to just grab a bite before heading back to London, and were able to get a table without reservations. We ordered the Tandem (without the cured meats) with a glass of red and white wine and enjoyed it very much. The sweet potato falafel were very tasty, as was the harissa hummus and babaganoush. The red wine from Portugal wasn’t too dry and I’m amazed at how cheap it was too. This is a perfect place to come in with friends for a quiet evening, and I’ll be back in the summer!

Went here for lunch today. We booked ahead although there did look like there was rooms for walks in. This place was on all the lists of places to eat in Cambridge so we thought we’d give it a try. They have interesting dishes that are modern british with a twist. I ordered the open kebab with lamb. It was delicious! Large portions. One downside is it is slightly on the pricey side. Apart from that such a nice spot! Bring your appetite

The vegetarian options were a little bland. We had to ask for more feta cheese for the whipped feta starter. Delicious meat options and great cocktails.

Really tasty and generous portions (not pictured was the trout starter). Only downside and reason it’s not 5* was that the service was quite slow, I had to go up to order food and get our starters cleared as both times we were forgotten about. Prices were v reasonable however, so would go again

Had we have gone on a weekend I'm sure the atmosphere would've been lovely. Weekday brunch we was one of three tables. Food was lovely though. The Josephine and scrambles tofu both come highly recommended.

This cute little reseraunt has a wonderful history and a wonderful theme. The staff were kind and friendly and I would definitely recommend it. It is on the pricey side, but you do feel like you're enjoying fine dining which for me, also means that the menu doesn't serve entirely what you'd hope it might. It was gorgeous food but the menu was limited and not super varied so have a look before you go. Well located, easy to get to but the parking might be a problem.

Had a wonderful dinner here this evening, a little pricier than what we would normally go for but great for a treat, everything freshly prepared, delicious, 5* prompt service. 10/10 would nom again. Have also had brunch here on another day which was also really good and service also brilliant that time too.

This place was recommended by a punter and as a first time in Cambridge we literally stumbled across it whist walking back to our hotel. It really was a lovely place. No ridiculously price but it was ridiculously good food. It took a little while for food to come but the staff were attentive and the time flew. Would certainly go again if I’m in the area.
