A visit to Tamarind for our anniversary. Situated near to where we live, so didn't have to travel far, plus it has a car park. We had a lovely time. Food was amazing and staff were vigilant to our needs. We wasn't there very long and would absolutely go again. We do get food delivered at times and can say it's as delicious as it would be if we were sitting in the restaurant to eat it.

Food was really tasty but service was slow, which I expected for Saturday night but it wasn't busy.
Waiters were very friendly but slightly lacking in the service. E.g. no water on table, took a bit too long for drinks and dessert to be ordered.
There's room for improvement but overall a good experience.
The staff here were faultless. It was my sons 13th birthday and they were amazing. They let me put a few decorations up. The food as always was amazing!! Always recommend them to everyone! Thanks again. Jade and family x

We were a large party of 10 service and food was excellent and you won't find a better curry than at the Tamarind! Amazing every time we go and the food get better every time 7* service and staff's are very polite we honestly thank all the staff's for the service they provided

Our first experience of Tamarind. We ordered a takeaway. The service was excellent and food prepared very quickly. The flavours of the food were excellent and you could tell put together well and freshly prepared. However, the vegan curry was hugely disappointing. I had the Vegetable Laziza, that was supposed to have roasted potatoes in it. There were no potatoes (I guess removed as not vegan?) and so the dish was just a load of white cabbage in sauce. Such a shame given the wide range of vegetables that Indian cooking has. It would be good to see some vegan options on the menu given how popular veganism is. On a good note, my partner's chicken dish was excellent and so too were the sides.
Fantastic service and food even though we were a large party and the restaurant was full. Staff always hold the door open as you leave. Best Indian in and around Cambridge.

The massive let down is the decor and the presence of the place. Needs a revamp badly. Would be a 5 star restaurant
