Hands-down the best cake shop in Cambridge. Your biggest problem will be deciding what to have, as everything looks (and is!) delicious. But if I had to choose one thing, it would be the carrot and orange cake - it's to die for.

I would not recommend visiting Tom's Cakes during the present crisis. The cakes are good, but the space is small so the queuing system is cumbersome. My best friend bought me a ginger cake from Tom's Cakes for my birthday as a surprise, and I was absolutely blown away by the flavour. I'm not a fan of sweet cakes, and this was perfect. Beautifully sticky and moist, with amazingly warm and spicy ginger and just the right amount of buttercream. Onc
