We decided to share some sides: tempura prawns, vegetable rolls and satay chicken. The king prawns were butterflied and lightly coated in the tempura’s light batter. A soy and wasabi dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment to the four prawns. The mini spring rolls came in a portion of six. They were deep fried but not at all greasy… just nice and crispy with a tasty carrot and cabbage filling. They were served with sweet chilli dip. The satay chicken, marinated and chargrilled on skewers, came with a spicy peanut sauce that was absolutely delicious.

The taste is well adjusted for a diverse population. Asians might prefer stronger flavours, could've done better if offered different levels of flavour. Service was very smooth and warm. Staff are quite friendly and welcoming. Some cooking smell got onto the clothes, might have avoided if there's any partition or ventilation between the eating place and the kitchen. Had a nice time with mates!

Can't fault the food, very authentic tasting, lots of wok hei in the fried noodles. Everything freshly made and they're happy to do substitutions or remove things to make it suit you. Lots of dishes can be made vegetarian or vegan.

Very friendly and professional staff. I ordered Hakka noodle and was glad I could have Halal chicken to replace the pork. The noodle soup tasted excellent with a dash of chilli. Minimum waiting time. The amount of chicken and shrimp was generous for the price.

The restaurant is conveniently located near centre with street parking around it (free after 6.30). Atmosphere was very warm, staff are welcoming and the restaurant looks bright and clean. Definitely a great first impression. Food was great too. Stuffed tofu and lemon chicken was really tasty. The noodle broth had great flavour and the noodle dishes tasted really good. Although the seafood noodle was slightly blend. It would make a great spot to eat when it’s chilly and raining. Definitely would like to visit again to try other dishes!

Pretty expensive for noodles even in Cambridge. However what really stood out was the quantity and quality of the toppings here. The sauce was also very authentic.

One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in terms of quality of food and price. I have been coming here regularly since I was 8 and never fails to disappoint. My go to dishes are the Spicy Black Bean Ho Fun with beef or the Authentic Sliced Beef Ho Fun. Try all of the starters too! Great service and friendly staff.

Absolutely superb. One of my new favourite places in Cambridge! A lot of the restaurants in the centre are fairly generic chains---not all! but a lot. The menu at this restaurant has a wagamama feel, to it---they even use some of the same crockery and utensils. But, in my humble opinion, is far, far superior. The food was absolutely fantastic. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And, everyone else's that we saw looked fantastic too. Can't wait to go back. In fact, we'll probably go back next weekend! Occasionally, these independent places can be a little on the expensive side compared with similar restaurants in chains, such as wagamama. That really isn't the case here, though. The food is very well priced. The service is very good and friendly too. Plus, every single member of staff was wearing a high-quality face mask and properly. Two weren't wearing one temporarily when behind some screens, away from customers. But all customer-facing were whenever interacting with customers. I think all the chefs were, too---certainly all but one were the entire time. Excellent to see people taking public health seriously. Can't wait to visit again and you should visit as soon as you can!

I have been to the Yippee noodle bar many times and for good reason; Because their noodles are the best in Cambridge, by far. They catered for my young child and were expedient and professional as ever. This noodle bar becomes extremely busy at lunch times so maybe as a tip, try and go just before or just after the rush hour peek times as it gets busy for good reason!! I must add that they catered well for my vegetarian friend also. Don't miss out, Try the Most delectable noodles in town!

Yippies is a fantastic place it is my Number one go to when in Cambridge, it can get a little bit crowded around peak times which can make it a little bit noisy. But you can get giant prawn crackers (I would recommend having more than one person in your party if you order these, but they are really good.) And China town roast duck with unlimited green tea for about £20 per head. The service has always been quick easy and great and you'll soon pick up a favourite dish. The only other thing to mention is they are closed on Tuesdays, so do keep that in mind as I have forgotten that in the past when I've visited Cambridge.

All the beverages available here are good too . Visited twice , will visit again if I get a chance . Highly recommendable for noodles and for Chinese food .

Mine and my families go to chilled restaurant. The service is always amazing, and the place is buzzing with people. I always get the Chilli Pepper King Prawn Noodles, and they are perfect every time! Generous portions and good cleanliness :)

Attractive simplistic interior. Friendly staffs and food was served quickly. I ordered a vegetarian noodle soup, the ingredients were fresh and very nicely presented. The soup base is slightly blend, probably because of the vegetarian nature. Everyone else seems to enjoy their food too. Highly recommended!

Serves very tasty food at a decent price. No frills, good service. Regularly get takeaway. One downside is that it can get quite noisy during dinner service, sometimes making it hard to hear what the person sitting opposite you is saying. Also they don't give you a discount if you order a main course without the rice (unlike some other Chinese restaurants).
