My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday and the staff were wonderful! They sat us on the balcony overlooking the river and had a birthday surprise on his pudding! The food was delicious and the service was excellent !!
Waaw what a lovely and romantic place to enjoy a meal with your loved ones. It sits right on the river cam and offers a great view of Cambridge colleges as well as the river. It's a family restaurant run by friendly staff and owners. They have a good range of food options as well as dessert . We tried their fish and chicken which was undoubtedly delicious 😋.
I would definitely recommend going there if you are in Cambridge.
Best place for a meal and view outside.
Lovely place - Awesome food and drink and the nicest staff, Sitting on the terrace by the river feels very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our evening here and liked sitting outside for the atmosphere. The food was nice, however, the portions were quite small for the price. The waiters were really friendly though and service was good.

The Galleria is a gorgeous restaurant! The food is impeccable - compliments to the chef/kitchen staff & the location is perfect! Riverside views are what makes a special meal out, even more perfect!
Overall, the experience was fantastic however, one staff member (i think he was a waiter) made you feel very rushed and simply started off with “Just a reminder, we close at 15:00 so shall we do your orders now”… although it was 13:45 ?
We had alcoholic drinks, starters and mains and were out of there by 14:30 (no need to rush at all) but hats off to the food coming out extremely quickly, so that was great!
Overall, wonderful experience, I just think the staff (this one in particular) needs to do a better job at making people feel welcome, rather than making them feel like they need to rush their food.
I would recommend and will definitely return in the future!

I visited for a third time to Galleria Restaurent and couldn’t recommend it highly enough! It was much better compared to my first experience and the food was, as always, superb!
We came here yesterday for lunch. The food was excellent. We got the veg pastry baskets with tomatoes and peppers for starters and the rump steak for mains. They were both great. The hospitality was very nice. We talked to the owner after finishing our food for a while. He was a very warm and pleasant person. We also got birthday ice cream on the house. I definitely recommend people to come here.
Happened to be at Cambridge for a day and we were recommended this restaurant by one of our friend studying there. Very delightful experience! We sat out at the veranda seats with beautiful view. Excellent customer service and attitude. The server will checked om us from time to time and asked if we need anything. It's such a quaint little place. Love it!
The food is amazing, definitely worth to revisit! The chef presented the food in a very artistic way 🥰 love sitting near the river to enjoy my lunch with the ducks:)
But unlucky they don’t have tiramisu at the moment :(

My partner and I got married in Cambridge and decided to have a late lunch / early dinner with our family and friends and the Galleria Restaurant in Cambridge. The restaurant had sentimental value to us as when we were studying at Cambridge, we used to visit the restaurant for their steak sandwiches (sadly no longer on the menu, but we hope they will be back one day!). It was our dream to host a wedding dinner at Galleria and Aamir and his team were incredibly cooperative. We worked together to choose a menu and drinks and agreed an exclusivity deal on the restaurant so that we could have the space to ourselves, which made it extra special! Luckily the weather was beautiful so we started off with some drinks outside as people mingled and then we made our way inside for a wonderful three course dinner.
Everything was delicious and Aamir and his team took extra care of the elderly, children and those with any special dietary requirements. In addition to the incredible food, all of it was served beautifully! His team even made a special portion of bread without nuts for our young cousin and a halal version of the lamb for our families. We were quite specific with our timings as we had to get back to London the same evening (it was a Sunday!) and the team were very punctual and made sure we had a quick service, but also allowed time for speeches too!
We would recommend Galleria to anyone wanting to have a gourmet, but reasonably priced lunch/dinner in Cambridge and especially to those looking for somewhere to host an event - you will not be disappointed! We hope to be back soon, even if just for a quick drink on the terrace; the views of the River Cam and ambience cannot be beaten!
A lovely place. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food was amazing, and the portions were very generous. I was genuinely sad to finish my meal!
I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation, and I will definitely be going back.
