My boyfriend and I went to De Luca for a meal and was not disappointed! The service was amazing, the food and cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere and staff were lovely! We were seated straight away and if ever needed something we were attended right away and if not we knew they were on their way if they were busy. After dinner we went to the piano bar and had more amazing cocktails and the atmosphere was amazing! The staff were so welcoming and warming and Robin on the piano was fantastic! Would definatley recommend and will be coming back!

Where can I start the service from staff was brilliant and didn’t feel rushed. The duck pate was sublime and my Rump steak was the best I’ve had in Cambridge There was a nice amount of time between courses, allowing the evening to be fully enjoyed, ambiance was lovely. Fully recommend everyone to try it, thank you to all the staff for an amazing evening x

Really lovely vibrant venue, food was great and staff are really nice... you don't feel rushed and can visit the piano bar afterwards, a small and secret room in the loft where you can enjoy music away from the clubs with a cocktail

We went here to celebrate my birthday and our first wedding anniversary. There couldn't have been a better choice in Cambridge to go. The food was incredible in taste and the service very attentive but not overbearing, thank you Emile. We were able to take our time with the meal and were fascinated by the 3 chefs and how calm they were in the open kitchen with a full house. Afterwards we went upstairs and finished the night with some delicious cocktails in the Piano Bar. We will be back for sure.

Amazing food and the best service ever. The ambience was amazing. The food was top notch. Did not reserve a table, but still the service we got was appreciable. The food was the best thing, I had in a long time. Definitely recommend it.

I was initially disappointed with the fact that on a Friday night by 8:15 they were out of pizza. Why can't they just make sure they have more than enough dough to begin with?! Anyhow, the special pasta I reluctantly ordered ended up being very tasty, although the starters took a while to arrive. The food was authentic and tasty, I just wish the menu choices and service time matched!

End-of-year dinner! We tried and shared almost all the starters. All delicious. The handmade pasta gave a rustic, homely feeling, though on the softer side. The sauce blended well and was not too heavy. The pizzas smelled good from the oven and over people’s table ;) For desserts, tiramisu is quite good, especially the moist lady fingers. My friend also said the cheesecake was one of the best white chocolate cheesecakes he’s ever had. Last but not least, I was a little nervous when I booked the place as we have three Italians in the group, but they reckoned the food here was fairly nice (except that Melanzane Parmigiana should not be misleadingly categorized under pasta as it does not contain pasta 😅 and that the food from the Foggia region was actually underrepresented probably due to the exoticizing and homogenizing process of commercialization, which is common for all foreign cuisines.) (Originally recommended by a friend from London H who discovered the place during her short stay.)

Had mussels and calamari as starters. Mussels were well cooked with great seasoning so was highly satisfied. Calamari could’ve been smaller pieces so it fries better rather than being such a big chunky piece but the sauce was remarkable. For mains we had bolognese and daily special pasta which was meatballs. Bolognese was classic, more like home cooked style but still great flavour. Meatballs with pasta is not traditional way to eat it but still the taste was okay. However both pasta could’ve been better considering they were both £16/£17 but not much difference from other Italian chain restaurant such as Zizzi or Bella Italia. Also felt like the pasta was slightly over cooked and I would’ve preferred other types such as tagliatelle or linguine. I was seriously disappointed for the fact that they don’t do arancini anymore as I really wanted to try it. The service was great. They were all kind and friendly while being professional. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing, it was a hot day but they had air conditioning with full power. Upstairs rooftop was small but looks cute and the downstairs was comfy and cosy. Willing to visit again to try different menus but I really hope they will do arancini again.

I only popped in briefly for a quiet drink at this place while waiting for friends to arrive in the town for a night out. I fancied somewhere where I could sit and relax while I waited The restaurant was very busy, but the manager and the staff still welcomed me to sit at a table and relax even though I wasn’t eating Very friendly staff and although I didn’t eat on this occasion, the food smelt great

Didn't have food but we had booked the Piano Bar upstairs, for Robin The Piano Man (robinpianoman on IG). Wasn't sure what to expect...maybe something low key... formal... maybe even a bit boring... sensible...? WELL, you will not be disappointed and definitely not bored. A super fun night, so funny. Jokes about Cambridge, loads of personality and audience interaction, and a VERY big list of songs you can request. It's a very cosy little room at the top of the restaurant, up a winding wooden stairs, grand piano, lights, and a cute cocktail bar at the back, espresso martinis, bellinis, whisky. We got in late, the only seats left were right at the front on little stools, but the best seats in the house. A lemoncello shot was won by my ❤ for singing the most lyrics 💯👌

Amazing authentic food and friendly staff. Followed by a fantastic Saturday evening of live entertainment in the piano bar upstairs. Pianist’James’ was pure talent with lots of personality. Great friendly atmosphere with lots of singing, dancing and drinking.

Went for a meal after booking on-line. Arrived at 6pm on Saturday evening and the friendly staff showed us to our table and took our drinks order. The food was excellent. Our only slight niggle was that when it started to get busy the service became a bit slow which meant we had to settle up before we got any coffees in order to catch our train. Shame, but we'd still go again.
