Amazing. We'd already got a fun vegetarian restaurant in Cambridge and now we have a fabulous vegan one too! Stem + Glory adjoins the new Mitcham's Corner yoga studio (recently opened by Camyoga) which helps lend a lovely calm atmosphere to the eatery. Their fine dining evenings are a real treat. Stunning looking food which tastes incredible. I overheard a woman on the adjoining table enthuse to her partner that as a vegan she'd never been able to have a taster menu before. The space was abuzz with people excited to be eating top notch vegan food in Cambridge. All the food was wonderful, but my favourites were the salad course and the dessert. I knew we'd be in for a treat at the end since I'd taken Stem + Glory's yuletide chocolate log home at Christmas. I have no idea how such exquisite baking is done without eggs, butter, and cream. Here be magic!

Lovely meal, best vegan meal I've eaten out in a long while. You pay for a plate then pile it with variety of hot and cold foods - bit like tapas? I had Spring pie, lasagne, coleslaw and potato salad with dill. All homemade and scrumptious. We went home with some cookies and I braved a turmeric latte which was really nice.

Best vegan meal out I've had in the UK! Kimchi pancakes, tempeh bowl, chocolate orange brownies and orange spice muffin - all outstanding. Absolutely lovely staff too! Wish I lived next door to this place. Or in it.

I love this place and just can't get enough of it. Everything is fresh, and you feel healthier with each bite. Easily the best food in Cambridge. I work close by so it's really handy, even my non vegan coworkers love it too. PS the Lasagne is out of this world, never leave without trying it!

Oh my word, where do I start!? I've been Vegan for over a year now (a decade of being Veggie beforehand...) and I can honestly say these guys' Sunday 'roast' was epic!! The best food I have had in a *very* long time. To top it all off, the staff were all super lovely and we felt very welcome. Loved it, I'll be back very soon for brekkie. Awesome xxxxx

Had a delicious lunch at Stem and Glory yesterday during a visit to Cambridge from Brighton. Everything was tasty and well prepared and the staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely to find an independent vegan restaurant in the city. Thoroughly recommend and we will definitely return! :-)

Had a wonderful 3 course meal the baked aubergine starter was an excellent example of how quinoa can be used as a delicious ingredient and not a penance. The main course had a side of coleslaw that was the best I’ve ever had and the bramble and apricot cheesecake was fantastic. Thank you and good luck with King Street!

Wonderful catering for two working lunches! Thank you all at Stem + Glory - mashed top pie, lasagne, salads, satay rolls and BLTs, plus the most delicious cakes (lemon & poppy seed and chocolate) and it's all vegan! Thank you :-)

We had a fantastic time at Stem and Glory - the food was delicious and the staff friendly, efficient, kind and just generally amazing - we went for a 21st birthday meal and they baked a completely awesome chocolate cake which they also decorated and sang happy birthday! They absolutely made our day - thank you very much!

We went for dinner. I liked my dish which had great tempeh. One of the Staff seemed a trifle short tempered but maybe they'd had a long day. Needs more mirrors to stop the room feeling the lack of enough windows. I loved the food so much I'd like to go back at lunch time to try a range. Other customers were very friendly ♥️

Had lunch with a friend at King Street yesterday and the food was amazing. Great flavours and good value for money too. Certainly set me up for a 5 hour drive that afternoon.

I last went to Stem and Glory some years ago in its original venue. It was decent, but I didn’t feel the need to return. This time? Oh my goodness. I will be back. The menu has had a full revamp and is full of exciting and interesting dishes. It is a bit of a crazy mixture of different ideas but somehow it works! What I particularly enjoyed was the flavour combinations that I hadn’t come across before - the sour/sweet green onion and miso sauce with the kimchi pancakes, the funky ferments of the pickles, the creamy cauliflower sauce that came with the king oyster mushroom stems and artichoke dish - try it mixed with the fermented capers in the pickles. And for goodness sake order some of their garlic bread to mop all the sauce up at the end, it is outstandingly good. Things to improve? The lighting is a bit bright - a bit more mood lighting would help! The drinks menus are illegible… Just get them printed on a bit of paper, it will be fine :-) And It would be nice to have a bottle of water on the table when we come in. Overall, the service was excellent, the prices very fair, and the staff and chefs were very happy to answer all our questions and were very welcoming and helpful. I will be coming back. Not because it’s vegan, that is distinctly not a selling point for me. I will be coming back because the food is fantastic and intriguing. The presentation is beautiful. And the staff are excellent. One of the best meals I’ve had in Cambridge in years.

Absolutely brilliant place! We went here for my hen party and they were so accommodating. With it being a large party, Jim communicated with us beforehand and he was polite and helpful. On the day they popped up some decorations for us (which my mum dropped off the day before). Food was unbelievably good and all 12 of us loved both courses. Fresh food, delicious flavours and excellent service. Most guests are not veggie/ vegan and all commented on how good it was. My friend noted that her vegan pizza was better than a regular pizza. Thanks for a lovely afternoon!

Delightful food & drinks menu with an attentive and cheerful staff. Having had a rubbish experience in waggamamas the night before this was a total opposite. They were brilliant. A fresh tasty new menu apparently, all of which sounded great. (and healthy too!.) Hard to choose just one thing. I had the " burger" bowl . And an amaretto sour. Went back to my hotel very happy and suitably fed. Thank you Stem & Glory!

We are not vegans, but we really enjoyed the food - it was delicious. Service was very attentive, and we felt like valued diners. We don't live in Cambridge but if we did we would certainly return!

Awesome food – great combinations! Outstanding taste of the dessert (hot pear with crumble and vanilla ice cream). I would want to eat my way through the entire menu. Vegan is so wonderful. That`s definitely a place to convince people to try vegan food more often. More people need to be open and taste the healthy high standard food explosion in places like Stem & Glory. Vegan is more than just fast food like burgers and Wraps and Stem & Glory shows us.

Food was really tasty and i highly recommend. Because we used a voucher there was a bit of confusion by the staff where we were advised of something first than something different by another member of staff.. However they managed to sort and we had our 3 course meal with drinks included Will most likely come back when im back in cambridge

Always an enjoyable experience here. I have taken my aunt here as she has a life threatening shellfish allergy but loves shellfish. Being able to go somewhere fully plant based and offers fake scallops - and similar in taste - was so nice! She was SO happy. Today, I went back for the 3 course tasting menu we got as a gift. What's included at this time? A glass of fizz, a glass of wine (cheapest one of either white, rose or red) and a 3 course meal. Such good value too. The "fish" tacos were great as an appetiser and the Italian stew was really tasty! We are lovers of kimchi and for personal taste, felt the kimchi from the pancakes tasted more like coleslaw with liquid smoke & bbq flavours. The desserts were delicious! Fun to have a tasty vegan cheesecake and the creme brulee was made perfectly! Great service as well. Always has :-) If ever nearby the station, this place has indoor and outdoor seating and is worth a visit! One of my favourite restaurants in Cambridge.

It was really great! HUGE portion. I over ordered - the Asian bowl + Pickles and Ferments. Took home the leftovers I bigger glass for my sparkling water would have been nice, and cleaner toilets. Overall really good. Nobody said goodbye as I left which was a shame. But all in all pretty good 👌🏻

Really good jack fruit salad bowl. Very tasty. The only disappointment was that most dishes were imitation meat or fish. Perhaps I should have tried one but as a meat eater I prefer my vegan food not to pretend to be meat.

Absolutely adored my meal here on Friday night. The staff were attentive and friendly and went the extra mile catering to my coeliac disease and gluten free needs. Most of the menu is gluten free anyway so I had plenty of choice (delicious beer too!) It's interesting to see the carbon footprint of each dish and everything we ate tasted fresh and had heaps of flavour. We'll definitely be back again. Such a fabulous meal.

I really enjoyed my first visit to the fully vegan restaurant Stem and Glory. It was great to have to the choice of a full menu as usually I only have one vegan option. The service was friendly and quick and they had a good online payment system so we could pay easily when we wanted to leave. The food was really good and we tried a range of things between us. The ravioli was a favourite of mine. The wine and cocktails were also very good. Hopefully I’ll return soon!

Came here as we’d passed it a few times on way into town from station. Booked on OpenTable beforehand and we’re surprised to get a table on a Sunday at short notice. Soo glad we came here, it’s fantastic to have a fully vegan restaurant in this part of town, with excellent menu choices. Absolutely loved the food , service though was a bit slow, had to wait around 15 minutes to get water at the table after we’d ordered our food and drinks. Not sure if kitchen was overwhelmed or they were practicing relaxed service, but it did take a while for food to arrive too, around 30 minutes. Had the salad bowls and it was well prepared and delicious. Will definitely consider another visit.
