We had the most wonderful lunch today! Stunning food and wonderful service. The papdi chat is particularly incredible but every dish was exceptionally good. Two vegetarians very happy with the selection available. All the party are big fans of Indian food and eat it regularly, this is hands down the best Indian meal we have eaten. I'm so glad we had room for the dessert platter! Also, my mum mentioned in passing that it was her birthday and she was brought a special dessert with a candle which was such a lovely touch. Thanks for an excellent meal and we will certainly be back!

The meal we had here was a belated anniversary treat for my wife so I wanted to find somewhere special. We'd traveled up from London as I didn't want to eat locally, and I have to say it was more than worth the journey!! I'm normally not a lover of Indian Food, but the dishes here were out of this world, full of flavour and the presentation was totally on point. This was definitely fine dining! The staff are very friendly, making us feel welcome the moment we stepped through the door. This is a restaurant I can whole heartedly recommend and one we'll definitely be visiting again in future!

Yesterday was the second new years eve at the Navadhanya. Fantastic food, that horseradish sorbet was to die for. The sweet potato and crispy kale, the monkfish, the chicken, the lamb and pud with chilli ice cream. I'm already planning another visit. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

The 7 course taster menu was sublime. I have never before tasted such beautiful food with the most amazing combinations of spices. The wine choices throughout the meal also complement every course. One not to be missed

The best Indian restaurant in Cambridge and possibly the best one outside London.

You don't get the number 1 spot on tripadvisor just like that! Tried their Valentine's day set menu with my Mrs and wasn't disappointed one bit. This place has some of the best Indian grub I've ever had in a restaurant.. and I'm from Leicester. Quality ingredients, excellent service and a very happy Valentine's date. My taste buds are alive again! Keep up the great work... P.s. we will be back again for the a la carte menu!

The most delicious Indian I have ever been to :) every course was tasty and flavoursome and on the 6th course you get your rice & naan. You won't go home hungry. Fabulous dessert as well. Brilliant service & very friendly staff. You must go, we will be going back.

I was only passing through Edinburgh and staying near by at Haymarket. I was only looking at the menu outside but the patron was so friendly and welcoming and the prices so reasonable that I had to go in. The food was spectacular, the service fantastic and I really appreciated the chic, modern Indian decor! 5 stars no doubt.

Fantastic....the service is so friendly and attentive, the food however is the star of the show. The 7 course tasting menu is just amazing, the flavours are subtle, spices just right and the different ingredients varied. We will be coming back !

I am someone that has avoided seafood all my adult life.... Having recently taken myself out of a few comfort zones in my life I decided that seafood is something I should probably tackle.. lots of people told me I have missed out! So, Navadhanya was recommended as I enjoy spice and flavour. WOW WOW WOW! The recommendation was the best I have ever had! I was nervous but after my first bite I knew the Seafood taster menu was something I was going to enjoy! Dish after dish of pure heaven..... I was someone that didn't like the thought of eating seafood..... that's all I was! Because I LOVE seafood now! 7 courses of taste sensation. Every course was the right amount of everything. The waiter was so well versed in explaining the dishes and with so much enthusiasm and a delightful smile. Wine and water were topped up accordingly and staff were so very attentive. The food was cooked to perfection ( My partner is highly knowledgebable in food) and there wasn't anything that made me feel uncomfortable in any way. Beautiful, so very worth the money and I am now a seafood eater for sure!!

Went for a friends birthday party. The experience overall was good. The food has some eccentric info western combinations which are not purely authentic but a good attempt. Not a place for regular dine out or takeaway but maybe just for special occasions. The service was great.

Had a private room for a birthday celebration. The food was of outstanding quality, freshly cooked and presented very finely. All the spices were very well balanced. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly. The atmosphere was a bit lacking though, as we were in the room without any windows or a view. Service was friendly and attentive.

The tasting Menu was out of this world. Interesting flavour combinations, attentive staff that treated our 5 Person group like royalty even though we just ordered the tasting menu without the complementary wines. There ist a reason, this place got repeated mentions in the Guide Michelin. I'll definetly be back.

Came for my birthday celebrations with good friends. This place absolutely blew me away!! The flavours, the presentation, the staff, the service everything was top notch. Unlike any other Indian restaurant I have ever been to. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making my birthday extra special.

We had a reservation for dinner on Feb 23rd at the Cambridge restaurant. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty. Kudos to the chef. However our fine dining experience was spoilt because of the following: 1. We had a long wait before a waitress even came to take our order. 2. Although, we clearly told the waitress that we would like all the dishes to be served at the same time, we were made to wait for a long time for the mains, as the waiter waited for us to finish our Hariyali machali, which we also told her was our main course dish. We had to call a waiter to ask for our mains after almost 50 mins waiting. The waiter apologised and offered us a complimentary chicken dish. Yet another tasty dish. 3. We had ordered Dal tadka as one of our dishes, as my husband is under treatment (had a heart attack 6 weeks ago and this was our first family meal outside)and is on diet food, with minimum oil/butter/fat. We were served Dal MAKHNI instead, loaded with butter and garnished with cream!!! We did not realise it at the time of eating, as we were so hungry after the long wait. We finished our meal at almost 9 pm! Although a couple of emails have been sent to the restaurant, we have not received any reply for them. High rating for the food, but service lacks...

Came in for the tasting menu. And oh my God the flavours were amazing! Never had an Indian tasting menu but this has set the bar very high. The presentation was great, flavours were amazing and the flight of wine was well matched. Also didn't have to wait too long between courses. First time trying Indian wine (Sula) as well which was lovely. Great value for money. I say it as it is - yes, yes, yes I will definitely go back to try the rest of their menu!

It took me a few weeks to come up and sum up the experience I had at Navadhanya! It’ll be extremely hard to compare the Indian fusion experience I had to any other place in existence. The Michelin status isn’t there for show… it’s there to serve a purpose. Flag down the masses and let me them know there’s a holy grail restaurant! Each and every single dish took my mouth on a roller coaster ride! I’m from a middle eastern household, so we do use our fair share of flavours. So you can just imagine exactly what I’m talking about here! Just get reservations, make your way in, order literally anything on the menu it’ll be 100% but you MUST try the lamb. Hats off… maybe even clothes off to the Chef and superb staff! Unforgettable experience, I’ll probably want to go to Cambridge just to go back to Navadhanya!

Wow, we were really impressed by this place. We are indian food fanatics and have tried at least 15 Indian food restaurants in Cambridge. Our normal go-to spot is Taj Tandoori, which is hard to beat. However, we came here tonight for the first time and actually thought they were on-par with each other — both exceptional. My family is vegetarian and we all thought the food here was 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back!
