Wonderful, welcoming pub where dogs (And their owners) are welcomed with open arms. The food was out of this world. What a little gem at the side of this beautiful city.
Superb food. The scotch egg was amazing. As was the steak and gammon with the best ever chips! Lovely,cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. Love what you have done to the outside seating area. We shall be back.x
Yesterday
Rocked up unannounced looking to be fed. Staff were absolutely marvellous, we were seated opposite the bar and menus provided. It was such a lovely experience. I’m sure all good was all cooked from scratch and it was delicious. Highly recommended. We will return
This is a fabulous place. The food is wonderful, the staff are friendly, helpful and professional, the beer is kept well, it is always busy, but be patient, we didn't have to wait long. And it is worth it!
Outstanding Customer Service throughout booking, fantastic atmosphere and outstanding lunch for a large booking at University of Warwick. All staff thoroughly enjoyed their dining experience. Great food - excellent service ���
An absolute gem! The freshest seafood I've ever had as it arrived the same time we did. The seabream was delicate and perfectly cooked and the dressed crab was fantastic! Oysters were sweet and delicious... and a great pint too! We will definitely come back when we travel through Cambridge again. The staff were so accommodating and friendly and really went the extra mile, I felt like I was at home.
We visited this pub to try their sunday roast and were very pleased. The roast was quite large and really delicious. The staff were also so helpful and friendly. I would also like to point out that they are dog-friendly. I will definitely visit again!

A deceptively simple pub that serves excellent food at pretty reasonable prices. Service was good and the wine was good, what more can you ask. My only feedback would be that the decor was a little patchy and could probably do with some attention but not too bad and apart from that I would absolutely recommend.
Lovely staff, great pints and a cozy atmosphere. What more could you ask for?

Hearty Sunday roast and delicious desserts. The lamb was maybe a little tough.
A recommend pub/restaurant while we were in Cambridge. We were not disappointed! Bar, food and service were exceptional. Chef uses only fresh ingredients with an imaginative menu. One of the best places in a city full of great places.
We visited here for dinner with our parents and ordered starters mains and a dessert. The starters were fantastic. The mains were fantastic. My burger was the best burger I’ve had in a very long time! The staff were very friendly and efficient. The owner came and said hi and humoured our parents. Very enjoyable visit!
We were looking for an authentic pub experience and of course fish and chips and we were not disappointed. The meal was delicious, with very fresh ingredients! On top of that the service was friendly.

Decided to call in after reading online reviews, and more than lived up to it. We arrived on the first night of their 2 week fish menu residency and the mussels and ceviche were incredible. Lovely staff. Great locals. Will come back
