I suffer from anxiety, and their place is such a nice quiet place with a friendly atmosphere, and the food is great every time. I definitely recommend them.
Had a very nice sweet & sour chicken dish. Yet to try other dishes but hopefully they will be as nice.
This takeaway only restaurant is not much more than a hole-in-the-wall, with an associated waiting room.
We visited twice while staying in the area and were mostly pleasantly surprised by the food we received. Although the chicken and roast pork fried rice was pretty bland, both the vegetable fried rice and the satay chicken were delicious.
Seemed reasonably popular on both the visits I made.
Just popped in for a pancake roll ( awesome ) my friend had salt & pepper chicken chips and curry sauce , all were excellent , sorry i didn't take a photo 😐 but we were starving 😅
This is by far the best Chinese in Cornwall the 4 in Redruth can’t even cook a chow mien and GQ in caharrack are so expensive like £4.70 for chick sweetcorn soup where it’s £3.00 at golden pool don’t go anywhere else this is the best Chinese I’ve ever had

Very cold whilst waiting and curry sauce needs lots more flavour. Rice was good and service was fine
We were holidaying near to the takeaway, so went on recommendations, definitely the most popular in the area and lovely food
The food here is amazing, I have been going to this takeaway for over twenty years as an adult and when I was a child living at home. I have tried other Chinese takeaways but they pale in comparison to golden pool, they take such pride in their food and how its cooked. I especially love their chicken balls
Cannot recommend this place enough, order regulary and quality and standard always the same, and amazing quality for price !
Best Chinese in Cornwall as far as I'm concerned not delivered due to the fact they are so popular and I would recommend shredded chilly beef sweet and sour Cantonese stye and young Chow fried rice but everything here is good.
Probably the best Chinese in Camborne.
