Reviews Delight 2 Bite

This is definitely a foodies food haunt to remember. I was greeted with a lovely cheerful smile and nothing was too much trouble. Honestly, I had real difficulty deciding what to pick out from the vast selection for lunch for myself and the other half, and then my attention was drawn to the still warm golden balls of luscious savouriness known as Scotch Eggs. I couldn't resist, so yep, we'll have two of those please, but what to have with them? Decisions, decisions. Luckily I decided to heed the suggestions that came forth and went with the salad as they looked so varied, fresh and flavoursome, So that was lunch....or so I thought.....for as the last salad was being constructed my eyes fell upon the pale gold ingot bars of deliciousness known as Shortbread. All homemade using all butter I was told, well, that sold it for me as my other half and myself are Shortbread fanatics. We had to have some of this gastronomic delight so that we could rate it on our personal scoreboard of best Shortbread. The idea was to have two pieces but that changed to 4 as I saw the crumb structure as it was being lifted into the bag. Eventually I stopped at having ordered 6 pieces!!! I had tried a slice of Shortbread before getting out of Cross Street, lol. Utter HEAVEN!!!! It was very difficult but I did manage not to scoff anymore until my other half got back to the car. Upon my insistence he too tried the Shortbread and confirmed what I thought - totally sublime, this was Shortbread to kill for. Before we knew it we were down to just 2 pieces which we decided to save for the afternoon. Good job, as the next task was lunch. Wow! The Scotch Eggs were the best that we had ever tasted, the egg yolks were PERFECT, and the salads were beautiful too. The next time we are in Camborne there is only one place where we will be getting food from, especially the Scotch Eggs and the Shortbread, whoever cooked these items certainly knows their food. Cannot rate this place highly enough.

Lovely fresh food and friendly staff. Not much room to sit and eat, only a couple of tables as it is mainly a takeaway, but great fresh cooked local food.

Had the leek & potato soup today really enjoyed it, Sharron works so hard & everything she makes is homemade & fresh , lots of selection on sandwiches , rolls, hot meals a massive choice from the salad bar & delicious deserts ...����

Amazing food and a friendly service. My son loves the hot chocolates with marshmallows and squirty cream. Xxx

Five star apple pie and custard from five star proprietors

This was my first trip here a few weeks ago, and next time I'm in Camborne I will be back!! We had a lovely coffee and cake and I'm keen to try more items on the menu! For such a small cafe, there is a large selection of delicious food to choose from! I think I will struggle to make a choice! Looking forward to my next visit already!

Quite simply this is hands down the best place in Camborne to buy your lunch! Sharon is really helpful and friendly and all her food is fresh, delicious and home-made. She has an extraordinary range of cakes and desserts every day and they are all just amazing! You can tell Sharon and her hubby work really hard and put a lot of love into whatever they create for us lucky people to scoff! 😊 ❤️

What can you say about Sharron's Place......? Absolutely gert lush!!! Excellent food, brilliant banter and cracking service. I can't recommend this place enough. Out of this world. If you re in Camborne and hungry you need to try Sharron's scotch eggs, cheesy garlic bread, cakes, coffee, salad boxes...... to be honest, you need to try everything on the menu..... 👍

Amazing home cooked food and cakes, always greeted with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble! Recently found out I was gluten intolerant. Not a problem as they added more choice and options for me and others like me. Wide range of gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan food. I've been coming here for about 7 years. Would highly recommend! They also help with slimming world choices! 10/10 from me!
