I absolutely love this place!! Very nostalgic and there's nothing better than having a proper cup of tea from a vintage tea pot and into a vintage cup!!!
The service is second to none! The staff are polite, helpful and kind and they work so hard to ensure that everyone enjoy their meals,drinks/ time there!!!
All the food is homemade and absolutely delicious and the prices are really good.
I have become a regular visitor and would recommend these tea rooms to everyone!!!
And there's the added bonus of wondering around a vintage shop full of exquisite treasure!!!
Truly wonderful!!!!!!!!
Loved this place! So pleased we have found it and looking forward to going back again. We enjoyed a really good breakfast and a lovely pot of tea for two complete with tea cosy! The ladies were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The quality of ingredients on the breakfast was lovely with nice chunky toast and butter, the price was very good. The whole place is interesting and quirky, really nostalgic.
I`ve been visiting Miss Mollys Tea Room for around 5 years. I have always found the food first class, " the service with a smile "exceptionally good, the surroundings quite breathtaking. At my age it is so uplifting to visit a place where there is so much of the quality of yesteryear all around, from the table cloths to the tea cosies, from the hundreds of old pictures hanging on the walls, to the beautiful staircases, the quirky objects on display, the gentle background music of "Neil Sedaka" "Mungo Jerry" "The Searchers" etc. A breathtaking no fuss experience !
Absolutely love this place! Amazing food and fantastic staff that go above and beyond. Defo worth a visit and you won’t be disappointed
A perfect place for afternoon tea. Tbh I wanted to move in. The tea was perfect and the scones very filling. Lovely antiques all over the place that were available to buy. The music added to the atmosphere. Staff were wonderful, very friendly. HIGHLY recommend a visit.
I am unable to drive past without going into the tea room for lovely tea and really diet dangering cakes. So lovely.
We are often there en mass for Sunday Lunch. Great value, wonderful food, fun lovey people serving and an atmosphere that is sure to make you feel good. Every guest I have come to stay is taken to Miss Molly's as a treat. I never tell them what to expect, they have all been completely blown away by the whole place
Very unique tea room. Massive cake portions ... had to ask for a doggy bag! Lovely fresh salad with jacket potato. Very good value for money. Will definitely return next time we are down to sample the High Tea and Sunday Roast! Loved it.
Just been treated to afternoon tea here and it was simply delicious! So much to eat and a lovely big pot of tea! Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you!
What an awesome place! A must visit, breakfast is amazing.
One of the most intriguing tea rooms I've come across so far. Booked a tea party for my son's birthday and from the moment we walked in the staff were lovely and attentive. Cakes were gorgeous and the location amazing. Can't wait to come back
So lovely. Great staff yummy cake and they put a candle in Mummy’s for her birthday and then didn’t charge for her slice as a birthday treat!!
So much to look at I came out with a lovely Art Deco lamp and mum a pretty little glass dressing table set. You could get lost for hours.
I did love it. It was the first time in Molly's Tea Room. I originally went for a cup of coffee. But I then saw the menu and everything was so reasonable. I had the medium Sunday lunch plate. When they brought the full Sunday meal, it had everything as I would remember that 40 years ago. And today was no different. The food was delicious, plentiful, and properly presented. I will certainly go again to see what other delights are on the menu! :)
A Cornucopia of delightful things to eat set in an Aladin's Cave of fascinating objects for sale. Friendly service even when busy, very enjoyable visit, thanks.
2023, went for carvery Sunday Lunch, very good meal at a reasonable price for a pensioner, thank you.
An absolute treasure of a place. A must visit whether you're browsing, eating, drinking or all three. Such friendly personal staff and atmosphere. Was like visiting great grandma's home 💞 Definitely on my regular list!!
Wow, the food is amazing and good value. It was lovely having a browse around before and after the meal. The issue was that we had to wait quite a while to be served but other than that it was great
Just read the bad review someone posted about miss mollys This person was obviously in the wrong place as it is absolutely wonderful,, The antique shop is an alladins cave which is full of beautiful furniture and ornaments etc..which makes you feel like you have stepped back into your grandparents house as it is all displayed with such care that you can feel the personality of the place as you walk through the rooms. Then when you feel like a break you can ho into the restaurant and have anything from a cream tea to a full English, The menu is so vast that you could eat there for a month without having the same going twice. The whole atmosphere is wonderful on both the furniture side and the restaurant the staff are kind friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The cleanliness of the place is marvellous in fact we always wonder how they manage to keep it all so spotless.
In my opinion anyone who feels they need to leave such a vindictive review
Is a very sad human being who is obviously venting their anger at the wrong place and is disgruntled for some other reason.
Stopped for lunch with our disabled Chihuahua, Theo. So many different rooms, filled with beautiful antiques to purchase. Enjoyrd an all day breakfast, ham & cheese panini & cherry & almond cake. Food was lovely & beautifully presented. Staff were lovely. Highly recommend. 🙂
This place is so unique. Set amidst an auction house you can choose to eat your meal/pancakes/cake surrounded by China plates! The staff are so friendly. They do a lot for the community and when I eat outside Molly the cat will sometimes join me.
Lovely place run by equally lovely people. Great atmosphere and a lot of beautiful crockery.
This place is wonderful!! Choose a seat anywhere and they will come and serve you. Very cozy and quirky. Service was great. If it’s busy make sure you’re not in a rush. We had cream tea and eggs on toast and it was delicious. Highly recommend!!!
Could spend a lot of time exploring the antiques. Dog friendly, cat on site.
A beautiful little tearoom. Outstanding service and terrific atmosphere. I've had the pleasure of having A most delicious and delectable few meals here. The price is on the higher end of reasonable but it is well worth it. As Miss Molly's adheres to a rare 'true' example of " You get what you pay for."
Their drinks are excellent and very hot, and their cold drinks are perfectly freezing. Food is delicious and all made to order fresh down to the detail.
It's a truly magical place akin to walking backwards in time to an era where effort was put into cooking and service. Miss Molly's tea room has the humanity and soul that is solely lacking in the modern world. And I pray that it is not the last bastion of old tradition and soul that still graces our beautiful country.
A dog friendly place with excellent food. A little treasure trove of a place to visit with 2nd hand furniture, cutlery, China, ornaments, retro clothes and vinyl records and much much more. The food was amazing and the staff really accommodating. Welcoming and really relaxing place to go, we will be back again soon.
Excellent place. Food amazing although a little expensive. Service a bit slow had to keep asking for help. The antiques and house cleared area was like nothing I have seen before. Could spent hours looking.
What a find!. Very oldie worldie tea room. Extremely welcoming hosts. We arrived with our 94yrs old grandad and they put songs by Vera Lynn. If you are on a diet, avoid as the cakes assortment are to die for. Plus assortment of savoury food. One to visit again.
Fantastic place. Had gluten free large breakfast and excellent coffee. Then had a mooch about the many rooms of trinkets and treasures. Absolutely fabulous place for a visit.
Lovely old fashioned tea room setting. The food is excellent and plentiful. So lovely to have something to eat and then have a browse around all that they have to sell.
It was my first visit to Miss Molly’s Tea Room and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had a great atmosphere and food was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it.
Very kind and thoughtful staff. When they saw my disability they moved me to a table I could get to easily. I have eaten here many times in the past and the food is always good. Quick service as well considering how busy they are. I had Ham egg and chips (I am gluten intolerant) and the Chips were crispy on the outside and lovely and soft in the middle. Both eggs were done perfectly and there was plenty of hand carved ham. I highly recommend a visit, just be sure to book in advance as they are always busy. Plenty of parking and a level entrance so good for people like me who are disabled.
An amazingly quirky and fascinating building for having a cuppa, cake and light food option. This place (and 3 outbuildings) is absolutely full to the rafters with items for sale, especially furniture, paintings, vinyls, CDs, dinner sets and books. Some very good bargains and reasonable items. Plus, an adorable cat.
I love it here, it’s absolutely full of brick-a-brack and furniture to buy. We had a sausage bap and bacon, mushrooms and cheese on toast and Molly the cat kept us company. Really recommend it, such a great place to look around and have a cuppa, will definitely visit again.
