No high expectation when we entered this restaurant. Good food and cheap. We enjoyed our chicken green curry, chicken massaman, pork egg noodles and stir fry chicken. Pad thai is not the best but okay. The staff (and owner) is super kind, polite and friendly not just to locals or British but to foreigners as well. Toilet is clean.

We were looking for an Indian restaurant for dinner and found this place by accident and so glad we did. The food was very delicious and authentic and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Definitely the best Thai food we had so far. Would definitely return if we live locally. Highly recommended.
Don’t be fooled by the back street the restaurant sits on or John the grumpy waiter, from Hull. This place is a little gem. The food is fresh, piping hot and above all, delicious.
The photos in this post don’t show the food in the best light but listening to the locals, Thai in Town is a weekly staple with people travelling from miles around to eat here each week.
Give it a go. There’s something for everyone’s taste.

Don’t be alarmed by the look of the restaurant, it’s a hidden delight. Owner seemed really nice and was friendly towards my family. Lighting could be better but the restaurant has got a good atmosphere. I really like the design of my plates and the carrots cut into the shapes of Lotus flowers - really enjoyable. The rice was not bad and I really enjoyed the beef. On holiday if I wasn’t I’d definitely come back. 10/10
The food was delicious and all freshly cooked, staff were friendly and engaging. We went for a set meal for 2 as we couldn't decide what to have and left very full with delicious flavours still in our mouths. The beer was reasonable too 😁 highly recommended

We stopped here en route further south, as were hungry earlier than usual, just as well as they were fully booked later. Tom Yum soups were exactly as they are in Thailand. Highly recommend!

The outside and the decor may look a little ordinary BUT do not be fooled, this is a culinary delight. Very nice unassuming, attentive service and the most excellent Thai food. All four of our party were of the same opinion. It's not a huge restaurant, so well worth booking, and the food is obviously not mass produced, but prepared to order. The few extra minutes between courses were well worth the wait. The food quality and delightful service make this very highly recommendable.
Called in here just because we fancied eating out for a change and good reviews on TA. We were not disappointed. From the outside the restaurant/takeaway doesn't look anything special (far from it tbh), but inside is different. Decor is plain and simple, with maybe a max of 24 covers. But the food - well - is fantastic. All freshly cooked with generous portions. We had the set meal for 2 at £18.50 each, and struggled to eat it all. 4 different starters, then a soup followed by 3 different mains with rice. Couldn't fault any of it. Would definitely recommend.

Really good family meal. Set menu very good value for money. Piles of food came out and was excellent authentic Thai. Fresh and hot. The restaurant was warm, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Looking forward to returning.
The food is amazing. Green curry, massaman curry and Pad Krapow with Thai sticky rice. One of the best Thai restaurants we have eaten in. Highly recommended.
