Visited last night 7pm 16/06/22, prebooked an outside table online via Zizzi's website, easy. Lovely warm evening, Initial greeting was welcoming we were shown outside & allowed to choose a table, all good 👍. Within a minute or two the front of House Manager, James introduced himself, very polite, warm and welcoming, we were informed about the new Speedy Zizzi's web ordering, We both found this system a bit clunky, not great to navigate, not ideal really and decided against using it, maybe an app guys like Pizza Express's would be better, inc loyalty promotions, deals etc?. Bear in mind this is the 1st time visiting this restaurant in 2 yrs, pre covid used to come almost monthly, so was hoping for similar Great Service & Very Good food. James looked after us throughout the whole evening, was superb, not over bearing, or pushy at all, nothing was too much, James #GREAT SERVICE an asset. So, onto Food & Drinks, #DRINKS wise good choice, but again guys more, Beer, Lager, Ale choices please, not everyone wants standard Peroni, luckily bottled Gran Reserva was available which I Very much like, my companions Wine was also most pleasant, much better choice available on the wine front though, good 👍. #FOOD, had 3 Course Set menu for £22.95, was good value for money but not excellent, used to be better menu options, more varied, more meat dishes. However, the food we chose, starter, main and desert were all good, The two standout dishes are pictured, Rustica Piccante Pizza, was #DELICIOUS, Very tasty indeed made by Brandon the Chef 👍 and the New Choc-Banana Brownie Sundae was also most #YUMMY and very well presented. The Whole evening both #SERVICE & #CULINARY were Very Very good. As mentioned above in my opinion only a few tweaks required, Ordering APP & Beverage choices maybe, All in All a Very Welcome back to #ZIZZIS Camberley, i will return.
