The Absolute Best! Awesome service from all and the best curries. The lamb shanks are a definite winner and a hidden gem of a meal.
I cannot fault one thing about Mehdi, simply the most fantastic food around! The service is second to none, very welcoming, and the staff are fantastic.
I would highly recommend anyone to try Mehdi because once you do you will have that new favourite place to eat!

Mehdi is the jewel of Camberley, a hidden gem tucked away in heatherside. It's simply the best Indian restaurant around and the service is second to none. We have been quite a few times now and have never had a bad experience.
Probably, the best Dhansak I've ever eaten in any Indian restaurant. Exceptionally tasty food, generous portions and very friendly service. It's always a pleasure to eat here or order takeaway. Highly recommended.

Hi me and my brother came to collect our order tonight, and we must say we tried the new dish on your menu Bihari chicken it was absolutely delicious! Went here with my girlfriend and her family, food was brilliant, had heard very good things about the restaurant but was a bit dubious due to its location. Inside is a very well decorated Indian with fair pricing and even better food.
The curry I had (prawn korma) is the best I have had from any curry house anyway and I shamefully eat a lot of curry, my only criticism is that the naans could be larger however this did nothing to detract from an excellent meal. Would thoroughly recommend
The surroundings aren't great but there are rumours of development coming, but don't let that stop you if you like tasty food. We went there at around 7 on a Friday and no-one was there. By 8 pm the place was full !! What great food. So tasty. We went back and it was the same. I've not been to a restaurant before where the food has been prepared with such love - love of food. Usually a jalfrezi is just a plain old sauce with whole chillis thrown in. Not here, you could hardly see chillis, but the taste told you they were in there. Excellent. My only tiny issue is that the waiters don't speak good English as they couldn't understand some of our questions. But go, eat and love the flavours!
Amazing service and delicious food!
Having just moved to the area we tried Mehdi as our new local Indian restaurant. The warm welcome we received was lovely, the staff were so accommodating as we enjoyed a drink whilst we waited for our take away. When we got the food home it was still lovely and hot and absolutely delicious! Have booked for a dine in meal next weekend!
We had a lovely Christmas meal at Medhi this weekend and felt compelled to write a review after such fantastic service. The staff went the extra mile to ensure we were ok when another table was on the rowdy side. The food was delicious and the staff made us feel welcome and important to them. It was a truly enjoyable experience. Is that so?
The food here is the best in the area; a wide area. It's fantastically tasty; hot and well presented.
Once a few tables start to fill, it becomes prohibitively noisy - probably because of a lack of soft furnishings. But that shouldn't take away from the quality of the food.
Monday night in February, but there were still quite a few people in the restaurant so that must be a good sign. Food was lovely and the waiters were very attentive without being overly so. Thoroughly recommend it.

We ordered a takeaway on Sunday night. We ordered through the website. We received a phonecall very quickly to confirm the order and the time to collect. The food was ready within about 20 -25 minutes of placing the order. The food was ready at the restuarant when I arrived to no waiting around. The staff were very friendly. The food was very good. Will deffinitely order from here again.
