Great place to eat, food was very good and Paul was a great host. Thanks for accommodating us at short notice. We had travelled from St Ives on our way home. It will now always be on our radar.
I have visited this pub a few times now and I’m so pleased I have! Paul and Sam are so welcoming and lovely. I have quite a few dietary needs which can be hard but Sam and Paul are so accommodating and make it so easy for me to have some delicious food! I have loved every meal and the steaks are AMA

Lush food, both carvery and daily menu, so welcoming, and a very relaxed atmosphere. We now consider the Rose and Crown to be our regular go to pub/restaurant having recently moved to the area! Coming back this weekend xx

Lovely little stop just off the M5 near Tiverton. Peaceful, dog friendly, venue surrounded by paddocks and panoramic views over hillsides. Great food and a cosy fire. The Landlords are lovely, really friendly and inviting. Decent prices. Clean toilets and parking for approx. 10 cars. Good disabled
We went there for a casual lunch today not having been there for 10 years, having moved away, and had a truly pleasurable experience, service, atmosphere and homemade food all were excellent. I said to Paul, the landlord, that it reminded me of how pubs used to but be.👍🍺👍😀

Great pub! The service was brilliant and the food great value for money. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, all down to the friendly and super efficient staff and landlord. A perfect stop over for our group of 14 on our way to a break in North Devon.

Lovely country pub with an amazing Sunday roast! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and I couldn’t fault the food at all. One of the best roasts I’ve had. We will be visiting again soon - thank you.

A really lovely little pub with great service, lovely food and a wonderful atmosphere. I came with both my parents and we enjoyed the stop off for some food and a pint next to a warm fire. Highly recommend this clean well presented pub for some good grub.
We had a superb Sunday lunch there today .
The food was beautifully cooked ,Roast potatoes to die for ,crackling ,stuffing ,Roast pork apple sauce and Chicken.Yorkshire pudding light and crisp .Veg not over cooked and plentiful.Gravy in a gravy boat on table .Service prompt Hosts chatty and happy .
Lovely pub superb food. Very good service. Nice beer. What more could you need in the perfect pub. Oh and it's family friendly and accepts dogs......
