It's my favourite coffee shop the coffees are amazing, i make a point of visiting at every opportunity.

This place caught my eye from far! It was the name and the red. Very cosy and warm inside, they have vegetarian & vegan options, coffee tastes great, they use biodegradable cups, paper straws and staff are ever so chirpy and friendly. It was open after 5pm. I don't know if that was luck or if it's usually open that late. Most Cafes, coffee shops, tea-rooms in the area close by 3-4pm in winter.
Lavatory isn't too clean unfortunately.

I tend to stop at Insomnia when driving between Chesterfield and Manchester - always really friendly service from the staff and although it's stuck on the side of a Spar it feels comfortable and welcoming. Coffee is surprisingly good, flat white is a fave. I've not eaten here but some of the snacks look tempting. Can't speak to the other drinks - perhaps a little on the pricey side but worth it for good coffee!

What a wonderful surprise. Previous people / employees who ran the cafe here were rude and very unhelpful. Couldn't be more different now. Really good choice of food and great coffee. (They now do decaf) and the staff are lovely. Will definitely be back :-)

You do feel welcome. The coffee is good. The cakes are too. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
It can be busy and hard to get a seat as it attracts nerds old enough to know better than get an over sized tablet or lap top out and sit there as if it were London.
It isn't. It's only bustling as it's on a cross roads not Trafalgar Square.
So if you can ignore the techy nerds and the Woody Allen lookalikes, it really is a pleasant place with easy parking on the lane behind.
Thus is a real gem of a place to get coffee. A double shot comes as standard although they are very accommodating to those who only want a single shot. The prices are pretty average. The cafe is clean and modern with comfortable seating. It can be a bit of a challenge finding the entrance on first visit and it would help if there was an additional hole in the perimeter wall.
Nice place, friendly staff , reasonably priced. I enjoyed it , Please everyone keep using these independent coffee houses as they far nicer than Big chain coffee houses, and also they pay there taxes 😉
Called in on the way to Padley Gorge area, lovely coffee, very friendly staff.
The looked to have some really interesting food too but unfortunately we had already eaten.
