Me and my partner stayed at the micro lodge over the road from here, Your food is amazing, we first got the fish and chips and pizza 10/10 Then we got 2 fish and chips I can honestly say it’s was the best we ever had! And your staff were so welcoming too.
My better half and I visited last week from Scotland. Thank you so much for your kindness, friendless and hospitality. We look forward to seeing you again when we revisit in the summer. Ps missing those Pints of Globe! All the best
Always great food and service! I cannot fault it. Never had a bad meal at the Globe, and I’ve been many times!
A fabulous lunchtime meal was enjoyed here. The menu covered a range of foodstuffs that satisfied us completely. The cooking and service received was top class, and coupled with a fresh real ale, what's not to like?
Came here for Sunday lunch. With our dogs quietly tucked in at out feet the four of us tucked into some amazing food. All cooked perfectly. Service was great, just the right amount of attentiveness. Had to try the desserts too and was the perfect way to finish off.
Had dinner here on the 25th Nov with my wife and her brother and his wife . we were seated straight away , the staff were friendly and polite ,the food was very good and the atmosphere was very relaxing, would strongly recommend
We were camping at Drybeck Farm down the road and called in here for dinner on Saturday night. Great food, great service and great prices. We really enjoyed our evening, we will be back next time we are in the area! Dog friendly too which was a huge bonus and able to cater to dietary requirements. T
Popped in on a recommendation. We decided to choose a number of the smaller dishes and was more than happy with what we recieved. Nachos, dirty fries, honey mustard cocktail sausages, garlic mushrooms and chilli beef. All amazing flavours. 3 for 15 pound. Great value. Way too much food for the 2 of
Adult meals - great food, good size portions. Kids pizza not great... definitely not worth £7. Wishing she had picked the sausage and mash. Nice atmosphere, cosy! And, dog friendly!
Lovely meals, great staff and even the pub quiz was good fun. Hope to get back there one day. Highly recommend this pub.
What a gem of a place, a little off the beaten track, albeit a few miles from Penrith. Booked last minute to break my journey up to Scotland. Room was ok size, very comfy bed. Bathroom had very large towel radiator, a shower that didn't leak and was very powerful but most importantly a mirror that b
First visit to this picturesque Cumbrian inn. We visited in December. Freezing cold outside, but a very warm welcome inside. A real fire. Decked out for Christmas. Mulled wine and a mince pie for £6. Reasonable drink and food prices. My Dad and I both had the homemade burger, topped with pulled pork
Great food and wonderful pub quiz

Fab stay at The Globe whilst visiting our son and family who have just moved into the village. Wonderful meal in the evening. Lots of empty plates. Amazing cooked breakfast this morning. Thankyou gang. See you again soon.
Fabulous cozy and very welcoming country pub, set in a pretty village in North Cumbria. Exceptionally good food and very fresh attentive service. Sunday roast is the best for miles around and the cheese soufflé is to die for! Highly recommended
Overnight stay. Room 3 was very small but clean and OK for a stop over. Big garden at the back of the pub with plenty seats Had an evening meal which was reasonably priced Breakfast order was taken when we checked in and was well presented. Good produce used and a plate of fresh bread toasted orang
