Tamar Inn - Calstock - Photo album

Best vegan fish and chips I've ever had! Finally, a place that has a non-banana blossom alternative!! The chips and peas were wonderful. Great view!
Having booked on line ,they did not have the booking on there sheet ,we showed them the confirmed booking on the phone .the young lady was quite rude about it and then showed us to a table in a corner .the food was cooked well but not that's hot but quite tasty .pudding was very nice .the young staf
Popped in after a walk on kit hill. Looks smart, plenty of seating in and out. Just across the road from the tamar river with a good view of Calstock viaduct. Restaurant looked nice but arrived too late for lunch. And finally rattler cider on draught.
Food was yummy, but maybe more of a choice would be great. Children friendly, clean and pretty premises and nice staff. Maybe a wee bit more expensive than expected, but still value more money. Great location.
Absolutely beautiful food! The burger and chips were the best I've ever had! The two ladies serving and bringing food over were really lovely also! Definitely come back here
Great pub beside the River Tamar. We selected The Sunday Carvery, which was very tasty.
Nestled close to the banks of the Tamar ,the Tamar Inn has a good food menu and wholesome portions, an excellent choice for any day come rain or shine
Back again after too long. Fish and chips absolutely superb. Spectacular 'butterfly' chips. Was going to have a pudding but totally stuffed!!
Very nice food, reasonable waiting times (we came during Easter), and the staff were very accommodating. Seats were a little uncomfortable, but otherwise a very pretty pub in a very pretty location.
We had a great experience here at the Tamar Inn. The Manager, Adrian, went out of his way to help us with some milk which was totally unexpected and we returned that evening for a super dinner, some great drinks and a local live band. All in all a super evening with lovely, helpful and interested s
Really nice pub! Beautiful inside . and plenty of seating outside. lovely food too.
Very pleasant discovery. Nice polite staff and relaxed atmosphere on a very hot, busy day. Good size steak, well cooked and unusual chips - U-shaped and delicious ( and I'm very fussy about my chips).
Lovely inn beside the Tamar river, good food and good atmosphere
Really delicious meal for Sunday lunch. Lovely staff, meal was tasty, good size and really good value for money. The service slowed a little as it got busier, but was understandable. The venue has the most stunning backdrop of the river and the train viaduct. A definite win win, and we shall be back
More of a pub and less of a restaurant than we were expecting. Fish of the day (hake) was beautiful but still was just fish'n'chips. Burger was a bit underwhelming. Great location by the Tamar - boats, ducks, and scenery.. Parking close by but was filling up - weekday lunchtime, out of school holida
Friendly local pub that likes it's guests as much as the loca locals. Good service, could make the menu a bit more exciting though. Great view of the river and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Lovely pub and great food. I felt such a pain asking them to get rid of the lettuce (didn't state on the menu) from my tacos as it sets off my ibs and they were so polite about sorting it for me and I'm glad I didn't need to miss out on the cheese nacho sauce. I only remembered to take a pic halfway
Such a friendly pub, bar staff were really accommodating in getting my terminally ill brother the drink he wanted. He was able to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere and people watching. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
