Freddy makes sure everyone walking through the door receives a warm welcome, friendly service and the most amazing roast dinner! We love to visit this Wiltshire gem and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a classic British country pub.
Fantastic! Went yesterday for a drink and booked in for Sunday lunch today.
Service was great but, the food was even better. Good value for money, will definitely be back... don't miss it.

Now our new local. We come here in the evenings on weekdays and on weekends. So relaxing. Great surroundings. The service is the best. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend popping in for a drink. Haven’t tried the food yet but I can imagine it will be amazing. This will be a pub we will be coming to from now on.
Nice old unspoilt country pub. Decent menu choices. Generous helping of food. All prepared and cooked on site. Pleasant inside seating with sizeable garden for nice days. Good for lunch or just a pint

Great local beer - straight from the barrel - Wadworths 6x. Lovely traditional old pub. Scampi & chips were good.
Friendly pub vibe with great food. Kitchen was closed but they still improvised by having a bbq, hot dogs were fab and good quality!
Called in for a drink to watch steam rally vehicles arrive for show which we was exhibitors here many moons ago,mobility makes it impossible now,we bought a drink and crisp and landlord was happy for us to sit in garden watching it all arrive,many thanks for that,lovely old pub👌

Bloody great. The landlord is a really nice bloke and the food is fantastic I can't stress just how good this pub is you really should try it out just the other side of calne
We’ve just returned from a Fathers Day celebration meal at The Ivy, well it was incredible! Our food which we ordered a mixed selection was piping hot, beautifully presented and plentiful, we couldn’t finish it. The Sunday roast came with an array of fresh vegetable, the meat was beautifully tender, absolutely scrummy.
We were made to feel as welcome as you would an old friend and our dog was treated to treats and lots of cuddles by the lovely staff who could not do enough for us.
And for all this luxury service you’d expect a large bill at the end but no, it was incredibly reasonable and well worth the money we paid,
In short go and visit, find out for yourself we’ll see you there, it’s not local to us but it is now our go to pub.

Went for Heddington and Stockly Steam Rally nice little pub ran out of beer in the evening didn't try any food quite packed
Comfortable country pub, friendly staff, welcoming, cosy, real log fire, food is delicious and really generous portions. Nice, relaxed atmosphere.
What a lovely pub this is, great cider and a good selection of beers . The landlord was a happy cheerful man. The food looked good although we only had drinks. Plenty of seating available inside and out.
We shall go again. 👍👍🍺
