We've just came back from Loch Lomond park and stoped accidentally at this "fish & chips" restaurant. It's defo not your typical scruffy looking fish and chips. Its a lovely fish and sea food boutique eatery with cosy atmosphere and amazing menu. What a treat! Without a doubt best fish& chips I have ever had in Scotland ever! The haddock was so fresh, it melted in my mouth(they get fresh fish delivered every second day! No frozen sruff)The chips were as amazing as they can be! Plus they have delicious oysters, mussels, other fresh fish (cod, place, hake),salads, artisan chips selection and amazing coffee! Highly recommend! P.S. I was recommended a heather ale which was super combo with my food. Loved it and defo will be back and bring friends to for a treat!
After a full day hillwalking on Friday, we were all very hungry so decided to try here for fish and chips!! Everything was fresh and a really good size portion!! We were not disappointed - fish was fantastic, the black pudding and haggis were delicious and the onion rings the best ever!! Not the cheap frozen ones but home-made!! Well worth a visit!!
stopped in here this morning for breakfast was awesome .black pudding to die for ,was tht good bought some from shop few doors up.if i lived nearer would be there every morning for breakfast..xx
After a long day in the car we pondered on supper. My son suggested fish and chips so off he went to get them as a takeaway. Back after a short time and we opened the boxes. I mentally gasped - the meal looked enormous. However, we tucked in. The fish was absolutely delicious - moist with a crackling batter. The chips were crisp and fat - too many for me but my grandson polished them off. And that was our experience on Sunday May14th 2017. It is one I would happily repeat.
Lovely friendly staff, fantastic food and great price. We highly recommend the salmon supper and the Stornaway black pudding supper.

The fish was really delicious. It is the best dish I had ever eaten in UK. It makes my trip from good to great! And the server was really friendly. Nice experience there.
Went with a friend popped in had the fish tea .. fish was amazing .. chips fantastic.. big mug of tea .. great finish to a lovely day .. and by the way liked the music � �
Excellent fish and chips, crispy and lovely taste. Ate ours in the car, really hot. Top tip, don’t forget a fork or napkin.
Food and service are both great. Highly recommend the garlic chips!

First time trying here for lunch with my husband yesterday and it was the best tasting food we have tried in a while. I opted for the Stornaway black pudding supper which was amazing and my husband had the sausage tea and he was also very impressed by the taste. The chips were also amazing. The waiters were also very attentive and helpful. We are looking forward to coming back again

Fantastic food and nice place to sit in and eat with great service
We came here for dinner after walking all day. Dinner was filling and delicious. The fish was crispy and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. A great place for locals and tourists alike. The 'chowder' was lovely smoked haddock and salmon. I would give five stars, but they were out of the advertised specials and even most of the beers. The chips were crispy and cooked in beef drippings. I look forward to visiting again.
The chips were some of the best I've had as they were seriously crispy which I love. You can tell they are double fried in beef dripping - the taste is there and they weren't soggy, however they really needed more salt and vinegar! The fish was a real decent size but it was a bit tasteless and the batter wasn't the best which is the only reason for not giving it full 5 stars

Amazing staff and kitchen! Many things sounded nice in the menu, so we wanted to share to try more: no problem to share, everything was delicious and portions were still generous (see picture)! +1 for the simply excellent staff :D
We tried the fish and chips which was great!! They give you the choice between the batter one or breaded!
Unfortunately I cannot say the same thing about the steak pie, which looked and tasted like a frozen one that you can buy in any shops.
But, the service and the general menu was great, I would go back for sure! 🌲
We arrived later in the day in Callander and decided, for ease, to have fish and chips.
They were excellent! The haddock had plenty of flavour and the batter was crispy and light, and the chips were crispy outside & fluffy inside- the tartare & curry sauces were a great addition.
We agreed these were the best fish and chips we've ever had, and had them again the evening before we left!

Being local to Mhor fish I use it regularly and glad it got kept as a fish and chip restaurant and the food hasn't disappointed! Glad too the restaurant is open as always loved sitting in. Only thing thats a little disappointing is they say 12 till 9 7days per week, however that's been a couple times I've came after 12 like 20 minutes when they should be ready to serve, but they haven't other than that very good fish and chip shop and I recommend!

Today Robert A L took me to Callender Town for a day out, we walking around the river to the Main St, we were passing by a Mhor Fish shop looks clean and went in for lunch, Robert orders sausages and chips and I ordered fish and chips. Haddock supper large portion batter was crisp and light perfectly cooked, tasty decided great value. Best fish and chips I've had. Staff were very nice, Highly recommended! Big Thanks to Robert for showing me to Callender Town I have a great day 🌈 ❤ 😊
