Outstanding food in a relaxed, comfortable setting. Located within the tranquil grounds of the hotel. Just a short walk from the River Teith, it's the perfect spot for a post-dinner stroll. Delight your friends & family with a visit to Roman Camp Bistro - I'm happy I did 😋
Excellent bistro. Indoor and outdoor (covered) areas. Narrow menu of standard fare done perfectly.
Very romantic setting and delicious food. Not too expensive and good value for what we had. A beautiful setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Full marks here - well, 4 stars as I never give 5 (we can all improve after all).
Friendly staff, good choice of drinks and food, good cooking which was very tasty and all for a reasonable price.
If in Callander pop in; you won't be disappointed, but remember, if you're going for dinner, book in adv

Lovely setting in beautifully manicured grounds of Roman Camp hotel (pictured)
Thoroughly recommended, driven past so often so finally went in - very pleasantly surprised.
Nice glass of wine and I had a confit duck with lightly sliced lentils - delicious.
Food was delicious and presented very well, customer service was good and the atmosphere was pleasant on the indoor/outdoor covered seating even during a small Scottish shower.
Lovely meal in the old potting shed. Wife had a very good mushroom risotto and my lamb was cooked perfectly.
Great place, food was excellent , as was the service
The best fish & chips I ever had. I heard that the cook is Polish :)
Significantly better experience here than in the main hotel restaurant. Great food and a relaxing experience.
Fabulous meal and drinks in the Potting Shed. Highly recommended.
Awesome food in beautiful tranquil surroundings and great service. For only a few pounds more than standard pub fare treat yourself to a top quality meal
Great place never been before, but great as I could take my dog in. Food and service great
Brilliant service, brilliant food and a brilliant atmosphere with lovely views all around
Food was lovely but asked for no dressing/mayo/relish and got a dressed salad. This was replaced with an undressed one.

Enjoyed delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere after an autumn sojourn around loch venachar.
