The Old Bank Restaurant - Callander - Photo album

5 stars for the grilled open-face toastie with grilled halloumi, avocado and bell peppers. I was surprised by the generous portion, and also this was really tasty. The coffee portions are similarly generous - was surprised by how large my coffee cup was. But I think food is their stronger point, co
Found a place for a wheelchair at a busy lunchtime on the bank holiday. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great food, good sized portions. Fresh onion rings prepared in their kitchen NOT frozen, outstanding. We’re definitely returning, but make reservations for busy lunchtimes.
Went in with our two dogs, there is a separate section if ypu wnat to take your dogs in. The lady (sorry, forgot to take her name but she has six dogs) who came to get our order was amazing. Friendly, professional service that put a smile on our face and us at ease straight away. We ordered the open
We were staying at Ripple Retreat and were kindly given vouchers by The Old Bank Inn. Their kindness and generosity was truly heartwarming. We went to get takeaway and the owner wanted to make sure we spent every last penny of the voucher, offering for us to come back for coffee the next day because
It's a very good Restaurant. The Food was delicious and they also have a vegan Dish. I can recommend this place.
We called in for lunch whilst in Calander. We had soup which was delicious. The service was prompt. The only thing which lets this location down is the decoration, which is very bland someone must have gotten a good deal with magnolia paint. Good for lunch but because of the atmosphere wouldn't com
Food was really nice good balanced menu selection all setup for covid rules. The staff were helpful and friendly, also offer children's menu, steadily busy short wait this time for table, will visit again
Lovely high tea, fish and chips and cakes, after a hike up Ben Ledi, recommended
We came for the afternoon tea for two. It was my mother's birthday and we got a beautifully decorated table. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The sandwiches and cakes were great and we had the best time!
First time visiting. Food was amazing. Service was great and portion sizes were huge. Will definitely be back again. Hats off to the chef!
Lovely cakes and great food. I ordered a high tea (available 1600 to 1800) and for 14.50 you get a giant stack of cakes, main course and a hot drink. Amazing value for money and a great standard of food. Nice service too. Maybe phone during covid as the opening times on Google seem incorrect.
It was a lovely meal at a lovely reastraunt with my only down marking being that the take away fish and chips was not the best ive had. I then ate in reastraunt the next day for dinner which was lovely so I think that its best if you sit in. Lovely waitresses, very kind and helpful.
Stopped for lunch, we're not able to get afternoon tea due to large booking before us which was unfortunate, we were able to take dogs in and they accommodated our wheelchair. Less stars due to speaker being glitchy skipping the music which was very irritating and staff being busy at the other side
Food was nice and hearty. We had the duck and the venison/pheasant casserole. Note that the gluten free menu is only for lunch, which isn't clear on the website and the staff weren't very proactive with suggesting gluten free options on the standard menu. The "freshly squeezed" orange juice is defi
Brilliant restaurant. The staff is the best. Food was really nice and was made from good quality ingredients. The prices were nominal as well.
Good food and plenty of it. Had the tea platter which is a main, drink and selection of cakes and scones. Waiting staff were very nice.
